If you missed Saturday's Scotty McCreery festivities, WRAL is rebroadcasting the "American Idol" hopeful's Garner concert overnight Tuesday (Wednesday a.m.) for your DVRing pleasure.

The concert will air from 3:07 a.m. Wednesday to 3:42 a.m. On your on-screen menu, select the scheduled replay of WRAL's 11pm newscast (or whatever it shows airing for those 35 minutes).

Garner residents will gather again Wednesday night when their favorite native son competes for the first time as one of the Top 13 finalists on this season of "American Idol."

Scotty McCreery, the deep-voiced country crooner, and the other finalists will reportedly be singing songs from their favorite artists. (Hmmm, reckon Scotty will go to the Josh Turner well again?)

The Town of Garner is holding a watch party to support Scotty from 7 to 10 Wednesday night at Garner Historic Auditorium, 742 W. Garner Road. Lowes Foods will deliver hundreds of guitar-shaped cupcakes to the party. (Scotty works at the Garner Lowes Foods when he’s not in Hollywood.)
