What to Watch on Saturday: TV movies from Rob Lowe and John Schneider

Drew Peterson: Untouchable (8pm, Lifetime) - Former Illinois cop Drew Peterson becomes the suspect in the murder of his third wife and in the disappearance of his fourth wife. Based on a true story. And starring Rob Lowe as Drew Peterson. Adrienne has a review.

My Cat From Hell (8pm, Animal Planet) - If you're even the least bit interested in cats, this is a great show with cat behaviorist Jackson Galaxy. Check it out.

Betty White's 90th Birthday Tribute (8pm, NBC) - If you missed this earlier in the week, catch it tonight. There were some really nice moments. "Betty White's Off Their Rockers," a show in which elderly people prank unsuspecting bystanders, airs immediately after.

Snow Beast (9pm, Syfy) - A scientist (John Schneider) and his research team try to evade a mysterious predator that appears to be responsible for a series of deaths after they travel to the Canadian wilderness to study a species of lynx, which have mysteriously disappeared from their territory.

Bayou Billionaires (9pm, CMT) - The premiere of a new reality series following a Louisiana family who strikes it rich and experience the perks of living as billionaires. We previewed it.

Pit Bulls and Parolees (10pm, Animal Planet) - Tia needs all the help she can get to find a mother and her puppies that were dumped in the Mojave Desert.

Saturday Night Live (11:29pm, NBC) - A repeat tonight. Emma Stone hosts, musical guest is Coldplay.

Austin City Limits (Midnight, UNC-TV) - Folk-rockers Fleet Foxes perform , as does singer-songwriter Joanna Newman.

Betty White's "Hot in Cleveland" sitcom is charming, funny

It seems appropriate that TV Land's first original scripted sitcom, "Hot in Cleveland," is stocked not with untested up-and-comers, but with some of the funniest (if under appreciated) female sitcom actresses of the last few decades.

The new series, debuting tonight at 10pm, has gotten a good bit of attention because it has put comedy treasure Betty White back in a steady gig, but that's not all the show has going for it. In fact, White's role is relatively minor. The list of stars sounds like roll call from some of our favorite classic shows: Valerie Bertinelli (Barbara on "One Day at a Time"), Wendie Malick (Nina Van Horn on "Just Shoot Me"), and Jane Leeves (Daphne on "Frasier"). Also worth noting is a guest spot by John Schneider (Bo Duke, "Dukes of Hazzard), who, I can't say too many times, has aged very well.

What to Watch on Saturday: John Schneider on Dirty Sexy Money

Kings (8pm, NBC) - The conclusion of season 1 of NBC's ambitious series also means the conclusion of the series forever. Tonight, Jack prepares to take the throne, but Silas turns up alive. David sets out to warn Silas of the plot against him.

Dirty Sexy Money (10pm, ABC) - Nick borrows the Darlings private jet to retrieve Kiki from Maryland, while Tripp Darling wants Patrick to convince a congressman (John Schneider, left) to change his position on biofuels.

Alone in the Wild (10pm, NGC) - This 4-part series from the National Geographic Channel premieres with adventurer Ed Wardle beginning a three-month stay in Canada's Yukon Territory. His only supplies are a knife, a rifle, a cooking pot, the clothes on his back, and of course, a video camera.
