What to Watch on Thursday: "Boston Med" ends with face transplant

So You Think You Can Dance (8pm, Fox) - The final performances were last night and tonight, a winner is annoucned.

Project Runway (9pm, Lifetime) - Betsey Johnson is the guest judge tonight as designers fashion unconventional garb with a "talent-testing twist."

Boston Med (10pm, ABC) - In tonight's finale, surgeons perform the world's second face transplant on a man who was horribly disfigured in an electrical accident. Meanwhile, the donor of the face comes to terms with losing their loved one, but is grateful someone can benefit from their misfortune.

Jersey Shore (10pm, MTV) - Tonight we go creepin'.

Royal Pains (10pm, USA) - Lottery winners all come down with similar symptoms, which Hank believes can be traced back to their posh lifestyles. Also, engaged Divya is unsettled by her attraction to a documentarian she encounters at a transplant patient's home.

Bethenny Getting Married? (10pm, Bravo) - Last week was the finale but tonight we get some clips from the cutting room floor. Should be a one-liner bonanza.

What to Watch on Thursday: GTL, baby, because "Jersey Shore" is back

Project Runway (9pm, Lifetime) - Season 8 begins and the biggest difference is the shows now last for 90 minutes instead of an hour. Selma Blair is a guest judge. Immediately following this show, check out "On the Road with Austin and Santino," two former PR contestants.

Burn Notice (9pm, USA) - A job protecting a businessman at a house party goes awry, putting Fiona in danger. Michael, Sam, and Jesse have to save her. (Dear Burn Notice, When can you make Jesse go away? Love, WarmTV)

Jersey Shore (10pm, MTV)  - Love 'em or hate 'em, the super-tanned, super-coiffed characters from "Jersey Shore" are back. For the second season, the cast makes like all good New Jerseyans and heads to Florida. The drama heats up in Miami when Ronnie upsets Samantha by flirting with other girls in a club. Just as long as no one punches Snooki...

Boston Med (10pm, ABC) - A baby boy faces an uncertain future after being born with a heart defect, and the situation is complicated when doctors are horrified to discover that a mistake was made during the first attempt at corrective surgery. Uh-oh.

Bethenny Getting Married? (10pm, Bravo) - We get to meet the newest member of the Hoppy family, baby Bryn.

"Jersey Couture": The Garden State gets an upgrade

I guess we should blame "The Sopranos" for all the love New Jersey is getting these days. MTV's "Jersey Shore," Style Network's "Jerseylicious" and Bravo's "Real Housewives of New Jersey" all feature the Garden State.

Or at least the part that features boisterous Italians, tans, big hair and plenty of cleavage.

The latest entry is "Jersey Couture" (Oxygen, 10 tonight), which also features an Italian family, big hair and plenty of cleavage. But I'd say this show has more heart than the others. These people are not embarrassing.

What to Watch on Thursday: SNL builds Christmas special around "Gilly?"

Saturday Night Live: A Very Gilly Christmas (8pm, NBC) - SNL has taken one of my all-time least favorite characters and built an entire Christmas special around her. If you're sick of Kristin Wiig's Gilly, as I am, record this special and fast forward through the Gilly bits, because you don't want to miss other classic SNL holiday skits, such as Alec Baldwin hawking his Schweddy Balls on NPR. Baldwin and Steve Martin both appear to introduce classic sketches.

The Mentalist (10pm, CBS) - During an investigation into the murder of a baseball scout, Jane is hit on the head with a ball and has flashbacks to his childhood and memories of his father, played by Nick Chinlund.

Jersey Shore (10pm, MTV) - This reality show has taken on a life of its own. Tonight is the episode in which Snooki gets assaulted in a bar, but MTV is not showing the scene of Snooki getting punched in the face by a bar patron. They have standards.

What to Watch on Thursday: A Deschanel duo on "Bones"

Bones (8pm, Fox) - A man dressed like Santa Claus robs a bank and then blows himself up. Merry Christmas!! More importantly, Zooey Deschanel, real life sister of "Bones" star Emily Deschanel (both at left), guest stars.

Community (8pm, NBC) - Anthony Michael Hall is on as a bully hassling Jeff, who happens to be preoccupied about failing Spanish (please let this mean we get Senor Chang tonight).

Parks & Recreation (8:30pm, NBC) - Leslie in the middle of a sex scandal? Sounds just about right.

The Office (9pm, NBC) - Phyllis and Michael battle over who gets to play Santa. Meanwhile, Dunder-Mifflin is sinking like  a stone.

30 Rock (9:30pm, NBC) - Jack reconnects with an old flame (Julianne Moore).

Jersey Shore (10pm, MTV) - It's the new reality show that has Italian Americans up in arms. But I'm not sure if making threats against MTV staff is the most effective way to argue that Italian Americans in New Jersey aren't all just a bunch of guidos. The show is pretty awful and advertisers are already bailing, so if you're curious, you better watch it while you can.
