What to Watch on Sunday: Some favorites return on Showtime

Titanic: The Final Word with James Cameron (8pm, NGC) - National Geographic Explorer-in-Residence James Cameron, who also directed the blockbuster "Titanic" film, assembles the world's leading experts on the sunken ship to investigate lingering mysteries of how and why the "unsinkable" ship sank.

Nurse Jackie (9pm, Showtime) - Season 4 opens as the hospital has been taken over by a multinational corporation and placed in the care of a no-nonsense doctor (Bobby Cannavale) who is eager to make changes to the hospital and staff. Meanwhile, Kevin and Jackie have split and Jackie's troubling encounter with a fellow drug user (Green Day's Billie Joe Armstrong) helps propel her into rehab. I got to watch nearly the whole season and it's worth sticking with.

Great Expectations (9pm, UNC-TV) - The conclusion of newest version of the Charles Dickens classic. Tonight, Pip is in London, where his guardian explains his allowance. In time he learns the ways of gentlemen, and he falls further in love with Estella.

The Killing (9pm, AMC) - Sarah searches for Rosie's backpack, while Richmond comes to grips with his diagnosis of paralysis, and Mitch finally turns up.

Betty White gets beyond sassy grandma in "The Lost Valentine"

During the great Betty White revival, Miss Betty has pretty much been called on to play the same part -- sweet grandma with the saucy mouth.

But in "The Lost Valentine" (CBS, 9 tonight), Miss Betty gets to stretch. And let me tell you, when Miss Betty does her teary breakdown scene, you'll join her.

It's a Hallmark Hall of Fame film, so you know "The Lost Valentine" is aiming to be a tearjerker, and it succeeds. There's tragic loss, found love, and heroism. If you don't at least mist up, you're stone.

"The Client List" will rub you the right way

During this recession, there have been a few stories of people turning to the sex industry to make ends meet (although there have also been stories that even the sex industry is struggling).

That's the backdrop for "The Client List" (Lifetime, 9 tonight), a funny, sexy, earnest little movie about a Texas beauty queen and physical therapist who takes a job at a massage parlor. It's inspired by a true story.

Jennifer Love Hewitt plays Samantha Horton, a pretty woman and mother of three whose mother (Cybill Shepherd) has always emphasized her daughter's looks, and taught her to use them to her advantage. Horton is married to the star college football player (Teddy Sears), but a bum knee has taken them out of the running to be the 'next Angie Harmon and Jason Sehorn' and left them struggling. Horton puts on a sexy dress and uses her cleavage, and then a photographic memory, to get them an extension on their mortgage.
