The Biggest Loser (8pm, NBC) - This show runs pretty much non-stop throughout the year now. The previous season just ended a few weeks ago and now we have a fresh new batch of couples at the ranch. The twist this season is that the couples will be split up and compete against each other.
Work It (8:30pm, ABC) - Heaven help us. This awful new sitcom is about two men who dress as women to get jobs. Yes, like "Bosom Buddies." Except without Tom Hanks.
Jane by Design (9pm, ABC Family) - This new drama follows a teenager with a keen sense of style who is mistaken for an adult and given a job as an assistant to a powerful fashion executive (Andie McDowell).
Parenthood (10pm, NBC) - The Bravermans take a road trip to visit Zeek's mother. During the trip, Adam bonds with Haddie, Sarah and Drew tackle an embarrassing issue, and Julia sees Crosby in a new light.
Frontline: Opium Brides (10pm, UNC-TV) - A report on Afghan farmers who, with the government's eradication of their opium crops, are now in debt to drug dealers with few options to repay them beyond giving them their daughters (YIKES!).
Jamie's American Road Trip (10pm, BBC America) - Chef Jamie Oliver visits East Los Angeles and tries to make kids eat healthy food. No, wait! That was a different show. In this series, Jamie travels around America and talks to folks with different food traditions. Tonight he meets Mexican-Americans with a strong food culture and learns about Homeboy Industries, a youth program that uses food to break the cycle of crime (and probably also tries to get them to eat healthy food).
