What to Watch on Sunday: More Vampire King of Mississippi, please!

Through the Wormhole with Morgan Freeman (8pm, Discovery) - Morgan Freeman hosts a series of shows (originally airing on the Science Channel) that examine some of the great mysteries of the universe. Tonight's back-to-back-to-back episodes look at implications regarding a possible creator, black holes, and time travel.

True Blood (9pm, HBO) - How unbelievably awesome is the Vampire King of Mississippi? Can HBO please give him his own show right now? Tonight, on heels of last week's stunning national news appearance, the King (Denis O'Hare) vows revenge on his enemies. And he's probably still carrying Talbot around in that candy jar.

The Great Food Truck Race (9pm, Food) - The six remaining teams arrive in New Mexico and a snow storm complicates the competition.

Drop Dead Diva (9pm, Lifetime) - The nauseating "Bachelor" Jake Pavelka guest stars as a dating show producer being sued by a former contestant.

Rubicon (9pm, AMC) - Will begins to suspect someone at API is behind his ongoing problems. The episode is called "Connect the Dots," so let's hope it does.

Mad Men (10pm, AMC) - Don and Pete disregard Roger's wishes while trying to land an important new client.

Jake & Vienna: Love means never questioning your man

The best part of last night's episode of "The Bachelorette," besides the sneak peek from next week of Roberto in a baseball uniform, was the Jake vs. Vienna smackdown in the last half hour.

Chris Harrison's sit-down interview with the couple in the wake of their very public breakup landed somewhere between "Sleeping with the Enemy" and "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf."

It was ugly. U-G-L-Y-they-ain't-got-no-alibi ugly.

Dancing with the Stars: Finally, the crybaby exits

Lennie G's report from last night's elimination show:

There were three highlights last night - two songs from the always fabulous Melissa Etheridge and the most welcome announcement of the latest elimination.

Spoilers ahead!

The Bachelor: Is Ali pulling an Ed?

On last night's very special "Bachelor," Jake went on hometown dates to meet the families of the four remaining women (Hey, did you hear that Tenley has an ex-husband?!).

But the real drama happened in the last half hour of the show when Ali went to Jake's hotel room to tell him that she was being forced to choose between staying there with him and going back to her job. In the end, after a lot of crying and a lot of whining, Ali left Jake to return to her career.

Wait. We didn't just fall off a turnip truck, "Bachelor" producers. We remember Ed and Jillian, and how Ed told her he had to leave and go back to his job, and then guess who showed back up again at the end because he had made the wrong decision? Ed.

The Bachelor: Jake throws like a girl

I really have no interest at all in "The Bachelor" this season, especially since they picked that cheesy Ken doll Jake Pavelka (right). So why did I watch last night? I could lie and say it was to make sure none of the bachelorettes were from North Carolina (you know, for the blog). But really, I have no good explanation. I am pretty sure, though, that I acquired a few extra wrinkles from all the wincing I did during the show.

Some of my favorite wince-inducing moments:

1/ Jake throwing that football. I'm sorry, but Jakes throws like a girl. Like a very spazzy girl. If any part of me thought he was attractive before that throw, that part of me died when his arm awkwardly came around his side and his foot kicked up in the air.
