Last night, Durham Jordan’s soccer team defeated Broughton 2-1 in what has been the biggest match of the season. Although the season is still young, there are a few things to take away from Jordan, the second-ranked team in the state, finding a way to beat Broughton, ranked fourth.

Both teams had multiple opportunities to score, but Jordan’s midfielder Teddy Mullin was able to score on each of his two chances, which was enough for the win. These teams are more than likely to meet later on in the postseason. Here’s what we’ve learned about them after Tuesday.
