Big Boss Food Truck Harvest this Thursday night

Looking for plans Thursday night?

Big Boss Brewing Co. is hosting a food truck gathering from 5-9 p.m. in their parking lot. (Big Boss is located in an industrial park off Atlantic Avenue. The address is 1249 Wicker Dr.)

The food trucks who have confirmed their attendance include:

Next food truck roundup set for July 25

Just got word about the next Durham food truck round up. This one is set for 5-7:30 p.m. Sunday, July 25 at the Durham Central Park pavilion. (That's where the farmers market meets.)

Brian Bottger, the organizer of these events and owner of Only Burger truck, says Deejay Piddy Pat will play music. The vendors include Only Burger, Daisy Cakes, Mom's Delicious Dishes, Parlez-Vous Crepe, Joe's Diner (hot dogs), Fired Flour (pizza), Indian Food on Wheels , Bulkogi Korean BBQ To Go and Locopops.

Indian Food on Wheels: Usually parked from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. every day at Sam's Quik Shop, 1605 Erwin Road, Durham.
Taco trucks can most often be found along Roxboro Road between Interstate 85 and Old Oxford Highway, north of downtown Durham, and also on the weekends at a flea market at 1300 E. Pettigrew St., Durham.

Durham food truck gathering this Sunday

There will be another food truck round-up from 4-7 p.m. Sunday, June 27 at the Durham Farmers' Market pavilion on Foster St, in downtown Durham. There will be shade, music and the Outsider Art Gallery will set up a table to show off local folk art.

Plus LocoPops will likely be there with their pops cart and Joe's Diner in East Durham is talking about bringing their hot dog cart.

Get there early! Brian Bottger of Only Burger reports about the last event: "I was expecting a couple hundred people but by noon there had to be at least 500 people."
