"Hef's Runaway Bride": The story isn't as crazy as it seems

It's easy to mock Hugh Hefner (Joel McHale does a great job on "Talk Soup") but on "Hef's Runaway Bride" (Lifetime, 10 tonight) you might feel a little guilty for doing so. He comes across kind of sweet and sincere, the wronged party.

OK, it would be hard to believe the blonde, young Crystal Harris was madly in love with the octogenarian (Viagra-enhanced) lover, but this behind-the-scenes look at the-wedding-that-wasn't shows that maybe it wasn't about two people using each other for their purposes. What the show reveals is that something more typical happened: they were both doing what they thought the other wanted.

Yes, there were some machinations going on (after all, this was designed to be a reality show to promote the Playboy brand), but in "Hef's Runaway Bride" the relationship between the two seems sincere. Even Hef's sons, Cooper and Marston, speak about liking Harris, despite their concerns about their dad getting married.

What to Watch on Tuesday: Cedric and the runaway bunny

Pretty Little Liars (8pm, ABC Family) - Alison's mom comes back to town and asks the girls to take part in a charity fashion show, which Mona helps run when Spencer gets too busy. Meanwhile, Aria works on stirring Jason's memory.

It's Worth What? (8pm, NBC) - Contestants are quizzed on the cost of various items and collectibles in a new game show hosted by Cedric the Entertainer.

History Detectives (8pm, UNC-TV) - Featured tonight is a letter that may be from Clara Barton in which she expresses concern about a soldier.

White Collar (9pm, USA) - Jones' classmate from the Naval Academy goes missing, so Jones joins Peter and Neal to investigate an international private security team, which could be linked to the disappearance.

Hef's Runaway Bride (10pm, Lifetime) - This special was supposed to be about Playboy magazine's Hugh Hefner's marriage to Crystal Harris, but instead, it's the story of the runaway bunny dumping Hef. This is an all-access special. Don't feel too sorry for Hef, though. He's still enjoying his blonde phase and I'm sure he's doing fine. Lucky Adrienne got to review it.

True Grime (10pm, Investigation Discovery) - In the opener of this new reality series about crime scene clean-up, a grisly road-rage murder is examined.

HawthoRNe (10pm, TNT) - Christina and Nick team up to plan a birthday bash for Mama Renata (Miriam Colon). Meanwhile, Camille learns a seismic life lesson when she encounters Miles' wife.

Marge Simpson: Bart will never learn of my Playboy spread

Playboy is having a lot of fun with their November issue featuring Marge Simpson on the cover.

Done to celebrate "The Simpsons" on its 20th anniversary, the issue is sure to be a collectors edition.

In a press release, Playboy found Hugh Hefner said this:

"Marge Simpson is the quintessential girl next door who stole our hearts 20 years ago and has held them captive ever since.

Marge Simpson gets a Playboy cover

First we hear that Levi Johnston -- Sarah Palin's daughter baby daddy -- is taking it all off for Playgirl.

Now we hear the next character to go nekked will be Marge Simpson.

It seems the mother of three, who we'll admit keeps herself in pretty good shape, will be featured in a three-page pictorial, complete with an interview for the November issue. (There will still be a 3D Playmate too.)

Not sure how this will go over with feminist Lisa or what the guys at school will say to Bart, but we're pretty sure Homer will be happy.

And we're happy Homer is not going to take it off for Playgirl. Or, far worse, Mr. Burns. Ewww!

BREAKING NEWS: A Bunny Puts on Her Dancing Shoes

In Touch Weekly is reporting that Holly Madison is joining the cast of "Dancing With the Stars."

In case you didn't know, Holly is the one on the far right. She was Hugh Hefner's top girlfriend among the trio he had living at the Playboy Mansion until recently, and they all played house on E!'s "The Girls Next Door."

Holly and Hef broke up (the other two, Kendra and Bridget left too, perhaps collectively waking up and realizing 1) Hef is gross and 2) they'd milked most of the fame out of this particular venture) and she started seeing magician Criss Angel. But Holly and Criss just broke up too.

It's not clear whether Holly will be replacing singer Jewel -- who has been having some tendinitis problems but who claimed to be still on track for the contest --  who would be competing against her husband Ty Murray.

But I guess we'll find out on Monday, when the show premieres.
