Alcatraz (9pm, Fox) - A bank robber from the past causes mayhem in the present and puts Rebecca in a difficult position.

How I Met Your Mother (8pm, CBS) - The friends recall their memories of Hurricane Irene and Barney tries to get out of wearing the ducky tie.

2 Broke Girls (8:30pm, CBS) - Granted this show has flaws (the racial stereotypes at the diner are beyond tiresome) but sometimes it's very funny. It's worth checking out, with fingers crossed they eventually burn down that diner and start fresh. Tonight, Max and Caroline (left) take an apartment-cleaning job to make extra cash, not realizing it's the apartment of a hoarder.

What to Watch on Monday: 'House' premiere, more 'Prohibition'

Prohibition (8pm, UNC-TV) - Part 2 of 3 examines the problems that the Volstead Act and prohibition caused, including a possible increase in alcoholism due to women frequenting the illicit speakeasies that replaced male-only saloons; adulterated liquor that poisons some drinkers; and civil rights violations by overzealous federal agents anxious to make arrests. Despite the public's growing opposition to the ban, few politicians dare speak out against it due to the political might of the Anti-Saloon league.

Terra Nova (8pm, Fox) - Jim and Taylor try to save the colony from a legion of pterosaurs. Meanwhile, Elizabeth learns that a former flame is also living in Terra Nova, and Skye tries to help Josh adjust to his new home.

Playboy Club (10pm, NBC) - A new Bunny is hired at the club, but she has a hidden agenda. Meanwhile, Maureen gets to know John Bianchi.

Season premiere has 'House' in the big house

"House" fans all remember last season's stunning finale: the good (and very jealous) doctor ramming his car straight into Cuddy's house while she hosted a dinner party with a potential new boyfriend inside. Oh yeah, and Wilson in the car with him.

Finally, House had gone too far and we all knew there had to be real consequences this time. Sure enough, the new season (premiering tonight at 9 p.m. on Fox) opens a year later with Dr. House paying for his crimes in prison.

This out-of-pocket episode isn't as amazing as the Season 6 opener with House in a mental institution, but few things in life are. Still, it's a solid episode that gives us a chance to see House being House, but in an environment where a bit of the cocky swagger has been zapped.

What to Watch on Monday: A few finales, return of 'Bachelorette'

Dancing with the Stars (8pm, ABC) - The tenth and final performance show of the season, and it's only one hour long!

House (8pm, Fox) - In the seventh season finale, House does something odd (even for him) which could alter his relationships with Wilson and Cuddy for good. FYI, Lisa Edelstein (Cuddy) is not returning next season.

The Bachelorette (9pm, ABC) - Dental student Ashley Hebert (right), Brad Womack's second runner-up (also known as "the real winner in that situation"), meets 25 potential husbands. Among them, a butcher, a fellow dentist, a masked man and a guy she already knows. We've scanned the bios and don't see any obvious North Carolina connections, but we'll monitor the episode tonight just in case -- solely for potential news value.

The Chicago Code (9pm, Fox) - In the series finale (what a shame), Teresa gets a return visit from FBI agent Cuyler (Adam Arkin), and Jarek is determined to resolve some lingering issues that have plagued the Wysockis. Meanwhile, Teresa and Jarek play all their cards in their case against Gibbons.

The Event (9pm, NBC) - In the series finale, Martinez and Peel are immersed in a power struggle with Jarvis and unbeknownst to them, Sophia. Also, Sean, Vicky, Sterling and Simon race to stop the dispersion of the virus, while Leila battles for her life and the portal begins to cool.

What to Watch on Monday: Cuddy's mom threatens to sue on 'House'

House (8pm, Fox) - Cuddy's mother (Candice Bergen, left with Lisa Edelstein) considers filing a malpractice suit against the hospital (why doesn't this happen more often on this show?!), which could put her daughter's and House's medical licenses in jeopardy. Meanwhile, luck runs out for a partially paralyzed lottery winner (Donal Logue, 'Terriers').

Chuck (8pm, NBC) - Chuck puts spying on hold to enjoy his bachelor party, but the bash takes surprising turns thanks to some surprising guests.

Chicago Code (9pm, Fox) - Teresa and Jarek face a big setback in their war against Gibbons when a crooked city official gets acquitted by a deadlocked jury. They look into the situation and find not only jury tampering, but other misdeeds as well.

What to Watch on Monday: A revamped "Law & Order: Los Angeles"

Civil Warriors (8pm, National Geographic Channel) - A three-hour special that uses interviews with descendants to tell the stories of their ancestors' roles in the Civil War.

House (8pm, Fox) - Thirteen reappears and it seems she has just been released from prison. Naturally, House devotes his energy to finding out how she landed there.

Law & Order: Los Angeles (9pm, NBC) - A revamped 'LOLA' returns with two back-to-back new episodes. The first episode involves violence at a quinceañera that leaves multiple people dead, and the second episode has detectives investigating a deadly home invasion. Here's what we know about the revamp: Skeet Ulrich (right) is leaving the show and will be "written out" during tonight's first episode. Expect sadness. Regina Hall, who played a deputy DA, will also exit in that episode. Alfred Molina's character leaves the DA's office to return to the streets as a detective, so he and Terrence Howard (deputy DA) will appear in each episode instead of alternating. Also worth noting, Tim DeKay ('White Collar') guest stars in tonight's second episode.

Being Human (US) (9pm, Syfy) - In the Season 1 finale, Josh and Sally try to save Aiden following Bishop's attack, and Nora learns the truth about Josh. Also, we find out how Aidan and Josh met.

American Experience: The Great Famine (9pm, UNC-TV) - The U.S. efforts to help Soviet Russia survive a famine in the early 1920s are recalled. Herbert Hoover (then the American Relief Administration chairman) championed the effort, sending almost 300 relief workers to Russia. The documentary includes archival footage and photos and interviews with survivors and historians.

The United States of Tara (10:30pm, Showtime) - Between college and planning Charmaine's baby shower, Tara reaches a breaking point and transitions, which sets off a battle for control among her alters.

What to Watch on Monday: Will Brad pick Emily on 'The Bachelor?'

The Bachelor (8pm, ABC) - Tonight's the night Brad Womack gives out his final rose, and it better be to Charlotte's Emily Maynard if he knows what's good for him. Whatever happens, there promises to be lots of drama before the final rose ceremony. 'The Bachelor: After the Final Rose" special airs immediately following this at 10pm. In the meantime, catch up on all of our 'Bachelor'/Emily Maynard coverage.

The Best of Laugh-In (8pm, UNC-TV) - A special featuring memorable clips from the variety show, "Rowan  & Martin's Laugh-In," which ran from 1968-1973.

Stargate Universe (10pm, Syfy) - In the season's second episode, Eli may have found a way home, but Rush believes the plan could go catastrophically wrong.

Lizard Lick Towing (10pm, truTV) - Ron and Amy host what TV Guide calls a "pig roast," but we all know they have a pig-pickin'. At the pig-pickin', a guest's car needs to be repossessed. Also, Amy's water breaks while Ron is away.

What to Watch on Monday: 'The Event' returns, and the 'Women Tell All'

The Event (8pm, NBC) - I had almost forgotten about this show. You can thank the cancelation of 'The Cape' for its return. If you're still paying attention, tonight the president and his chief of staff order the intelligence community to decrypt Thomas' satellite message and a surprise attack by Thomas is handled by Blake in a heroic standoff. Also, a new Alaskan senator threatens to reveal information about the Mt. Inostranka detention facility on "Hardball with Chris Matthews."

The Bachelor: The Women Tell All (8pm, ABC) - It's the night when all the rejects get together and scrap. Might be interesting to watch just to see how Crazy Michelle tries to pretend like it was editing that made her look crazy all season.

House (8pm, Fox) - A bombshell that hits Cuddy causes her to rethink her priorities and distracts House as the team tries to diagnose a troubled team with mysterious scars. There's a dream sequence choreographed by Mia Michaels of 'So You Think You Can Dance,' so I guess you know what that means...

He Loves Me (9pm, Lifetime) - A new Lifetime movie in which a Seattle woman (Heather Locklear) tries to save her marriage despite her husband's infidelities. We've got a review.

The Chicago Code (9pm, Fox) - A teenager's murder in Chinatown is investigated, and Teresa tries to get the locals to cooperate while Gibbons works on making  headway with the area's unofficial mayor.

The Bachelor (8pm, ABC) - Brad and the remaining eight women go to Costa Rica, where Brad asks Emily about the timetable for meeting her daughter in Charlotte.

AfriCOBRA (8:30pm, TV Land) - A tribute to the art and artists of AfriCOBRA narrated by Phylicia Rashad. The half-hour documentary will be available on TVLand.com after it airs tonight.

Being Human (9pm, Syfy) - Josh befriends a werewolf who doesn't like vampires, and Rebecca seeks Aiden's help to evade the controlling vampire clan.

The Chicago Code (9pm, Fox) - The series opener of this new ensemble crime drama about Chicago cops comes from the makers of "The Shield." Unlike the cops in "The Shield," these officers are fighting corruption, not participating in it. Stars Jennifer Beals, Jason Clarke, and Delroy Lindo. This is definitely one to check out.
