NC man hits the road to star in new History channel series

An Outer Banks man already famous as a four-time Monster Jam champion is about to star in a new reality series on HISTORY, alongside "Survivor" and "Amazing Race" contestant "Boston Rob" Mariano.

"Around the World in 80 Ways," debuting Sunday night at 10 p.m., will have Dennis Anderson and Mariano using 80 different modes of transportation to travel around the globe in 80 days. They can't repeat the same mode of transportation twice, and they're sometimes called on to build their own craft.

The pair travel through Brazil, Peru, Namibia, Botswana, Zambia, Tanzania, Dubai, India, Thailand, and the Unites States. The show isn't meant to be a competition, but with personalities like Anderson and Mariano, there's really no way it doesn't turn into that at times.
