Green Hope enters the postseason as the N&O's top-ranked area girls' soccer team.

Below are all of the match-ups in the girls' soccer playoffs and we'll update this blog with links to our coverage from every round. The East regional finals are this week with state championships to follow. The 1A championship has been set, and Raleigh Charter is in it.

Bria Dixon, a senior at Cary High was selected as the NSCAA/TopDrawerSoccer.com national girls' soccer player of the week.

This year's Brittany Soccer Showcase for girls will take place Friday and Saturday at the J. Burt Gillette Athletic Complex in Wilson.

The event brings together a number of girls' soccer teams from across the state and raises scholarship funds in memory of former Wilson Hunt soccer player Brittany Willis. Willis was murdered in 2004 while still attending Hunt High.

The schedule is below. East Chapel Hill, Carrboro, Millbrook, Cardinal Gibbons, East Wake, Middle Creek, Garner, Clayton, West Johnston, Corinth Holders, North Johnston, Bunn and Franklin Academy all have games.

Panther Creek boys soccer coach David Grant is now the girls soccer coach as well.

Rosters for the N.C. Coaches Association East-West All-Star girls soccer game, including Apex's Katie Thomas, Cardinal Gibbons' Hannah Holub and Caitlin Donovan, Carrboro's Samantha Burnch and Kyle Tawnie and Broughton's Kristen Cherry and Clay Weaver.

Brackets and locations of N.C. Independent Schools Athletic Association playoffs in baseball, softball, girls soccer, 3A boys tennis, boys lacrosse, girls lacrosse and track & field.

Undefeated Green Hope High, which is ranked No. 1 in the state in the N.C. Soccer Coaches Association, begins play in the state girls soccer playoffs against Northern Durham.

Leesville Road, which won the 2011 state title, is at home against Panther Creek. Green Hope and Leesville Road can play one another if each wins its first three playoff games.

Seventy-two high school girls soccer games are on tap in late March for The Brittany Willis Memorial Scholarship Showcase, held at the J. Burt Gillette Soccer Complex in Wilson.

Among the area teams competing are: Broughton, Millbrook, Wakefield, East Wake, Clayton, North Johnston, East Chapel Hill, Cardinal Gibbons and Franklinton.
