Millbrook's Chris Mahan and John Karlawish were runner-up in 4A doubles
The NCHSAA individual tennis championships saw the area have four players earn state championships: Middle Creek's Nick Stachowiak and Cardinal Gibbons' Robert Kelly won singles championships, while Matt Galush and Noah Constantine won a doubles titles.
Wakefield's Bo Boyden and Carrboro's Brian Freiburghouse were runners-up.

The results from the 4A Mideast boys' tennis semifinals hosted by UNC-Chapel Hill. All semifinalists advance to this weekend's state championships.
Cary Academy’s boys’ tennis team traveled to Florence, S.C., and won the Florence Tennis Association High School Tournament.
The tournament features the top teams in South Carolina along with select teams from North Carolina for a three-day tournament with each team playing four matches against some of the region’s best competition. The Chargers went 4-0.
