Fourth of July sales are in full swing this week with deals on all types of picnic foods, from grilling meats and marinades to salad dressings and produce, along with plenty of snack foods.
While you're stocking up, be sure to collect your freebies and ultra cheap deals, which include free barbecue sauce and free Kool Aid or Country Time drink mixes at Lowes Foods, and cereal for as low as 7 cents a box at Harris Teeter.
Other deals of note:
At Lowes Foods, peaches are 97 cents per pound, Chex Mix is 50 cents per bag, pickles are 65 cents a jar and Ball Park buns are just 69 cents.
At Harris Teeter, there are several Buy 2, Get 3 Free deals, which make for some nice prices on hot dogs, shredded cheese, ice cream and chips. And sweet corn is just 25 cents an ear, which matches Kroger's price.
At Food Lion, the produce department has some excellent deals and chicken leg quarters are on sale for just 69 cents per pound in the 10-pound bag.
And, if you haven't tried shopping at Aldi yet, this week would be good timing. There are sales on produce, grilling meats, condiments and ice cream treats.
I'm also including Kroger deals at the very bottom of the post for easier comparison shopping.
Please jump in with your good deals in the comments section so we can all save even more!

I purchased $91.98 worth of groceries and paid 90 cents. All of it was tax.
