Jon and Kate were on separate couches again, but they seemed super relaxed. Kate was lounging on hers. It makes me wish that we could really live their relationships solely through the show; that we
weren't being bombarded by tabloid stories in real time that tell us their marriage is doomed. On the show, it seems like they could work it out.

But back to the Jon-centric episode. (Not much from the kids.) The gang gets a visit from fellow TLCers, the men of "American Chopper." Jon is going to help design his own bike with the Teutuls and their team at Orange County Choppers, which means hairy Mike.

After last week's coziness between the couple (both on the couch, Jon's arm relaxed behind them, eye contact), Jon & Kate were separate again. Jon explained in a voiceover that sometimes they'll be interviewed together, sometimes separately, depending on their time and their feelings. This time it felt more like they were just busy rather than I can't stand to even look at him/her.

The paparazzi stayed hot on their trail, reporting every move Kate and the kids made on their working vacation. The family relaxed on Bald Head Island (while Jon had drinks with women at bars in New York) and fans of the show (as well as fans of trainwrecks) have gone along for the ride, obsessing over Kate's bikini, her bodyguard, and her parenting style.

Us Weekly says he did.

Their new issue, which comes out today, says it has confirmation from "five people close to the situation" - including two relatives of the other woman that "Jon & Kate Plus"
dad Jon Gosselin, 32, has been having an affair with third grade school teacher Deanna Hummel.

Here's the alleged mistress' brother, who is also her roommate, comments:

"She's a nice girl, not a homewrecker," Jason tells Us Weekly. "He is a bad
liar. This isn't healthy for her. But she is refusing to help herself, so here I am trying to help her myself. I hope this clears the air."

If you watch "Jon & Kate Plus 8" you already know that Jon & Kate were working each other's nerves. And the season finale showed the Jon has had it up to here with the show.

A story in the NY Post is saying that they are trying to take time for themselves and that part of the stress is the finale was that it was shot on the day the gossip press was saying Jon had cheated with partying coeds. Will there be another season? TLC isn't talking.

It sure would be sad if Jon & Kate ended up like Jessica & Nick.
