If you eat at a McDonald's in the Triangle, know this: Every chicken nugget, ketchup packet, napkin and bun will soon pass through a warehouse in Garner.
Golden State Foods' employees began moving into the distribution center this week and have started to receive inventory. In three phases over the next 90 days, the company expects to begin distributing products to about 550 McDonald's in the Carolinas, Virginia and West Virginia.
"If you go to McDonald's in Raleigh, the product is coming through our facility," said Jim Brooks, the center's general manager.
