What to Watch on Tuesday: Clooney goes 'Inside the Actors Studio'

Inside the Actors Studio (7pm, Bravo) - George Clooney talks to James Lipton about his life, his career, and his grand plans to prank the living daylights out of his pal Brad Pitt. Repeats at 2 a.m.

Glee (8pm, Fox) - The New Directions-Warblers rivalry heats up with Michael Jackson music as Regionals near. Also, Kurt and Rachel hear about their applications to the New York Academy of Dramatic Arts and things between Sam and Mercedes get hotter.

Ringer (9pm, CW) - Bridget offers to host a fundraiser for Juliet's school and learns that her friend Greer knows one of Siobhan's secrets.

New Girl (9pm, Fox) - Nick is dating a girl who doesn't want to put a label on their relationship, and Winston reconnects with an old flame.

Raising Hope (9:30pm, Fox) - Burt tries to win back all the things he lost gambling decades ago, and Virginia and Jimmy are powerless to stop him as they also get caught up in the betting craze. But their addiction comes back to haunt them when they miss Hope starring in a play written by Sabrina and directed by Shelley.

Southland (10pm, TNT) - Violence explodes on Hood Day when Sammy leaves a gang territory unattended. Ben is haunted by his disastrous encounter breaking up a group of street dancers and parts of Tang's past surface.

'Dancing with the Stars': Ciao, bella

Our pal and guest blogger Lenni G shares her thoughts on last night's results show:

Loved the opening number choreographed by Val featuring the guys, lots of guys, and a cameo from Carrie Ann at the very end.  Ricki and Derek got the encore spot from the judges, redoing their jive from the night before.  Guess Mr. Scrunchy Face, aka Grumpy Len, really did want more dancing from this couple.

"The Script" did their latest hit accompanied by some fabulous dancing from Chelsea and Dmitry.  And we had Demi Lovato doing a very theatrical version of her hit, "Skyscraper."  Huge kudos to this girl for the way she has turned her life around.

What to Watch on Friday: Series finale of "Medium"

Medium (8pm, CBS) - In the series finale, titled "Me Without You," Allison begins a new career as a lawyer and Joe lands a new job. These developments lead the couple in opposing directions and have a lasting impact on the DuBois family. Okay, first of all, I hope they jump ahead in time or that was the fastest law degree in the history of the world. Second, if they split up Allison and Joe in the finale, I'm going to be furious.

Kitchen Nightmares (8pm, Fox) - In the third season opener, Chef Gordon Ramsay visits the Spanish Pavillion in Harrison, N.J. He finds the family-owned eatery has bickering owners, undercooked food, and an outdated decor.

Fringe (9pm, Fox) - An Observer reaches out to the team to reverse a critical error, while Walter meets Roscoe Joyce (Christopher Lloyd), the keyboardist for his favorite 70s band, and discovers uncanny parallels in their lives. This is a new night for "Fringe."

Piers Morgan Tonight (9pm, CNN) - Piers Morgan wraps up his first week with George Clooney.

Great Emmy moment from "Modern Family" and George Clooney (VIDEO)

This is another great moment from last night's Emmy show.

The rhythm's off a bit on the "Memphis Beat"

Sometimes watching a TV show about the South when you're living in the South can be a burden. Even a Northern transplant like me gets bugged by a labored Southern accent, gets hung up on whether the location is actually the South  or not, and recognizes when the quirkiness (there's always quirkiness) gets a little too thick.

All of that went through my mind as I watched "Memphis Beat" (TNT, 10 p.m. Tuesdays), a promising, but unfocused series about a quirky (see I told you) Memphis detective who loves his city and his Elvis.

"Hope for Haiti" airs on most networks tonight

George Clooney, Anderson Cooper, and Wyclef Jean host tonight's telethon benefit for the victims of the earthquake in Haiti.

Expect musical performances by Bono, Jay-Z, Justin Timberlake, Taylor Swift, Bruce Springsteen, Coldplay, Shakira, Sting, Alicia Keys, Dave Matthews, Stevie Wonder, Jennifer Hudson, Keith Urban, Kid Rock, Christina Aguilera, and others.

Clooney hosts from Los Angeles, Jean from New York City, Cooper from Haiti, and "Twilight" actor Robert Pattinson will host from London.

Some of the stars scheduled to man the phones include Jennifer Aniston, Meryl Streep, Leonard DiCaprio, Jake Gyllenhaal, Brad Pitt, Nicole Kidman, Zac Efron, Bradley Cooper, Renée Zellweger, Courteney Cox, Colin Farrell, Gabby Sidibe and Emily Blunt.
