What to Watch on Saturday: Gary Cole in Lifetime's 'An Officer and a Murderer'

NYC 22 (8pm, CBS) - Jackpot and White House attempt to rescue a pregnant woman and her husband from a burning car following a crash, while Lazarus and Tonya guard a raided PCP lab.

My Cat From Hell (8pm, Animal Planet) - Jackson Galaxy tackles a cat whose constant crying wakes its owners at 4 a.m., and a cat who chews everything.

An Officer and a Murderer (8pm, Lifetime) - A small town detective investigates a high ranking Canadian Air Force officer (Gary Cole) who is suspected of murder, sexual assaults and a series of home invasions in which women's lingerie and photos were stolen. Also stars Laura Harris and Rossif Sutherland. Based on a true story (see "Beyond the Headlines" below!).

How to Fall in Love (9pm, Hallmark) - A shy man hires a dating coach, who also happens to be the girl he had a crush on in high school, to help him improve his romantic prospects.

Beyond the Headlines (10pm, Lifetime) - This is kind of brilliant. Lifetime follows their "An Officer and a Murderer" movie with a look at the real life case on which it's based. This one-hour show investigates the life of Col. Russell Williams, a Canadian Air Force commander who murdered two women, sexually assaulted two others, and committed 82 burglaries.

Todd Barry: Super Crazy (11pm, Comedy Central) - Super low-key but very funny comedian Todd Barry performs in New York City at the Grammercy Theatre, touching on travel tips, his life as a germophobe, and the real value of spaghetti at restaurants.

Second season of "Funny or Die Presents" begins on HBO

The second season of "Funny or Die Presents" premieres Friday on HBO, right after the season premiere of "Real Time with Bill Maher."

The show is based on the popular comedy website, funnyordie.com, and features sketches, animated shorts, music videos, and more. They have some great guests this year: Will Ferrell, John C. Reilly, Rachel Dratch, Kristin Wiig, Warren Sapp, and more.

"Funny or Die Presents" airs on HBO at midnight on Fridays.

What to Watch on Monday: Gary Cole on "The Closer"

"Dancing with the Stars" Announcement Special (8pm, ABC) - Also known as "Bachelor Pad." The dancers for the upcoming season will be announced at some point during this two-hour herpes distribution experiment.

The Closer (9pm, TNT) - The always great Gary Cole (right) is guest starring tonight as a military officer battling Brenda as she investigates the shooting deaths of three marines who had just returned from Afghanistan. Also of interest, the fallout from Chief Pope's devastating job news at the end of last week's episode.

Real Housewives of New Jersey (9pm, Bravo) - The second part of the two-part finale airs at 9pm (no table-flipping in the first part!) and then at 10pm we get the first part of the reunion show. Don't forget to enter our contest to win Season One of RHONJ on dvd! Today is the last day to enter.

Rizzoli & Isles (10pm, TNT) - Serial killer Charles Hoyt (from the first and best episode so far this season) returns tonight. The sinister slayer who once tried to murder Jane might be at it again when a body with his MO turns up in the park. As Jane's fear deepens, Maura tries to track the killer.

Weeds (10pm, Showtime) - Trying to keep on the down-low in Washington, Nancy, Andy, and Silas take under-the-table jobs at a fancy hotel in Seattle. Nancy also makes a connection with a new supplier, played by Linda Hamilton.
