American Experience: The Amish (8pm, UNC-TV) - This originally ran in the middle of night back in February, so it's good to see it getting a more accessible airtime. Filmed over the course of a year, this American Experience documentary seeks to answer questions about the insular religious community of the Amish. Filmmakers received unprecedented access to the Amish community and it's said to be the first film to deeply penetrate the profoundly private group. It also includes the first television interview with one of the parents of a schoolgirl murdered by Charles Roberts in 2006.

The River (9pm, ABC) - A.J. must confront his demons to find a cure when the rest of the Magnus crew are temporarily blinded by spores from a tree. Meanwhile, the Morcego tribe follows the interlopers to decide if they are worthy to remain in the jungle or if they should die.

Work It (8:30pm, ABC) - Heaven help us. This awful new sitcom is about two men who dress as women to get jobs. Yes, like "Bosom Buddies." Except without Tom Hanks.

Jane by Design (9pm, ABC Family) - This new drama follows a teenager with a keen sense of style who is mistaken for an adult and given a job as an assistant to a powerful fashion executive (Andie McDowell).

Tonight he meets Mexican-Americans with a strong food culture and learns about Homeboy Industries, a youth program that uses food to break the cycle of crime (and probably also tries to get them to eat healthy food).

What to Watch on Tuesday: Robert Wagner arrested for murder

NCIS (8pm, CBS) - Boo! Fooled ya! Robert Wagner is arrested for murder but it's while he's playing Tony's dad on "NCIS." Wagner's character is suspected of murder when he's found in a car with a dead body and has no recollection of his actions. Tony is taken off the case, forcing him to disobey orders to prove his dad's innocence. Coincidentally, Wagner was just in the CBS lineup this past Saturday night, co-starring in an episode of "48 Hours Mystery: Vanity Fair Hollywood Scandal." On that show, a boat captain alleged that Wagner had a hand in the drowning death of his wife Natalie Wood in 1981. Awkward. (Note: That "48 Hours" episode was originally supposed to air this coming Saturday, November 26, but CBS rushed it to air a week early -- and so quickly that I didn't even know it was on. Here is the episode online.).

Dancing with the Stars (8pm, ABC) - The final three couples perform their favorite dance, and then the final two dance an instant samba before a winner is announced in the 13th season finale. Eliminated couples from the season return and Lady Antebellum perform.

The film includes comments from players and coaches.

Frontline: Death by Fire (9pm, UNC-TV) - Frontline examines the case of Cameron Todd Willingham, who was executed in 2004 in Texas for the arson deaths of his three children. Included here is new science that indicates the fire may not have been an arson.

Body of Proof (10pm, ABC) - A famous equestrienne who ran a vocational program for prison inmates is murdered, and the prime suspect is a convicted felon and former drug addict (Crystal Bowersox). Meanwhile, Megan's ex-husband is upset to learn that she took Lacey to a crime scene, but Megan becomes equally peeved when she finds out that Lacey is being dragged along on her father's vacation with his new girlfriend.

Man Up! (8:30pm, ABC) - Three men in their thirties navigate -- and bemoan the state of -- modern manhood. It's not good, but it's not as bad as Tim Allen's bemoaning of modern manhood at 8pm. Here's more on tonight's premiere.

Frontline: Lost in Detention (9pm, UNC-TV) - Maria Hinojosa reports on U.S. immigration policies since President Obama took office. Included: the record number of deportations (about double the rate of the Bush years); claims that families have been unfairly separated; Republican criticism; and the growing backlash among Latino voters.

Real Sports with Bryant Gumbel (10pm, HBO) - Segments include a profile of NBA Hall of Famer Jerry West and his battle with depression, a report on obsessive runners, and revisiting a 2008 story on sports in polygamist communities.

Parenthood (10pm, NBC) - Adam and Crosby try to impress Cee Lo Green (in a cameo) with their new studio and Drew takes steps to advance things with Amy.
