Georgia trying to help the ACC

Update: No such luck, Nevada's Mark Fox is the choice.

Georgia's trying to liberate one of the mediocre basketball coaches from the ACC. The Dawgs will meet with Clemson's Oliver Purnell and Miami's Frank Haith today to discuss their coaching vacancy, according to the AJC.

Georgia struck out with Mizzou's Mike Anderson and Oklahoma's Jeff Capel and is moving on to Plans C and D, although it's unclear in what order Purnell and Haith are in.
