'Conchords' may be grounded for good

Potentially sad TV news. Jemaine Clement (that's him on the left), one half of the dynamic acting-and-singing duo Flight of the Conchords, told Reuters today that their HBO show might not come back for a third season.

"We've got to write the series, but we've also got to write the songs, and just dividing your time into those two writing tasks is really tricky," he says. Meanwhile, HBO execs say the door is open for the group whenever they're ready to return.

The second season of "Flight of the Conchords," HBO's delightfully bent comedy series about the exploits of the New Zealand pop duo of Bret and Jermaine, won't get started for a while. But you can check out the Season 2 online premiere right now.
