Here is McLeansville homeboy Chris Daughtry's first new music in quite some time -- although it's not an original song. Instead, it's a very faithful cover of Foreigner's classic-rock warhorse "Feels Like the First Time," recorded as theme song for the CNN network's League of First Time Voters initiative.
Daughtry's version of "Feels Like the First Time" will also appear on the upcoming "Deluxe" expanded version of his wildly popular 2006 debut album, "Daughtry," due out Sept. 9.
