General Mills, P&G asked to share burden for recycling product waste

Two of the country's largest makers of consumer packaged goods, Procter & Gamble and General Mills, are being asked to adopt "Extended Producer Responsibility," which would establish fees that would require corporations to help pay for reclamation and recycling of their products' post-consumer waste.
