Today's (double!) giveaway might take you to an alternate universe

That's because all the DVDs involved are Syfy channel shows. During this hectic holiday season, we all need to go to another world, if only for a minute.

So, we offer "Warehouse 13," Season Two packed with 12 episodes of the show that has a quirky crew chasing fantastical artifacts across the globe and through time. If you've never watched the show, I'm guessing more than 8 hours of sampling, plus special features like video blogs and episode commentaries should give you more than a sense if you want to go further.

Not only that, the DVD features a crossover episode with another Syfy show "Eureka." And, because we're that organized, we've got "Eureka" Season 4.0 for you. It has more that 7 hours of viewing of the show about a small town where big things seem to happen regularly. Plus it has one of my favorite actors on it: Joe Morton!

What to Watch on Monday: Sci-fi, moving doc, strong guest stars

Eureka (8pm, Syfy) - Applicants swarm Fargo after he solicits volunteers for a space mission. Also, Carter plans a getaway. Wil Wheaton and Stan Lee guest star.

Warehouse 13 (9pm, Syfy) - Dr. Vanessa Calder (Lindsay Wagner) reunites with Artie for a case that requires some help from Calder's ex-flame; a mystery lands Pete and Myka in bed while Steve is missing. Saul Rubinek and Rene Auberjonois also guest star. The new Syfy drama "Alphas," starring David Strathairn, follows at 10.

There's Something Wrong with Aunt Diane (9pm, HBO) - A controversial documentary about a tragic accident that occurred on July 26, 2009, when Diane Schuler drove the wrong way on New York's Taconic State Parkway and collided with an oncoming vehicle. The accident killed herself, her daughter, her three nieces, and all three people in the other car. Here's Adrienne's review.

HGTV Design Star (9pm, HGTV) - The guest judges are designers Cortney and Robert Novogratz, and as a bonus, "Home by Novogratz" airs after this at 10 (it usually airs on Saturday nights).

The Closer (9pm, TNT) - Flynn and Provenza plunge into yet another ill-fated adventure when they try to make quick cash by serving court papers for a lawyer. They get a bad break when they serve a man and he's killed just minutes afterward. Adam Arkin guest stars.

Rizzoli & Isles (10pm, TNT) - The body of a young girl is found during Boston's Fleet Week. Frost's father (Ernie Hudson), a Navy Admiral, arrives and stirs up tension with his son.

Weeds (10pm, Showtime) - Loving Martin Short as Nancy's attorney. He had me with "Stewart Havens' Trapper-Keeper of Broken Dreams." Tonight, Havens gets Nancy a custody hearing in California, which means permission to leave New York City for a few days and a chance to see her youngest son. The problem is she also needs one of her other sons to come along as a character witness.

The A-List: New York (10pm, Logo) - Season 2 premiere of the reality show following New York's "gay elite."

What to Watch on Friday: Renewed "Eureka" can't turn to stone

Coastwatch (8pm, Planet Green) - Paua poachers are targeted along the coast during a two-day crackdown dubbed "Operation Iris."

3:10 to Yuma (8pm, TNT) - If you haven't seen this 2007 remake of the 1957 classic, tune in. A poor rancher (Christian Bale) escorts an outlaw (Russell Crowe) to meet up with law enforcement while the outlaw's henchmen try to head them off and rescue their leader.

Eureka (9pm, Syfy) - Tensions peak between Carter and Grant over Allison, Henry woos his own wife, and Zoe deals with a secret love while something begins turning the townfolk to stone. Syfy announced this week that it has renewed "Eureka" for a fifth season.

Whale Wars (9pm, Animal Planet) - The Sea Shepherd employs a new strategy in their campaign against the Japanese whalers.

Flashpoint (10pm, CBS) - A high school athlete threatens to commit suicide after he is kidnapped and beaten.

What to Watch on Friday: Disney original "Den Brother"

Den Brother (8pm, Disney) - An original Disney Channel movie in which a cocky hockey star played by Hutch Dano ("Zeke and Luther") is suspended for showing off and forced to become the substitute leader of his little sister's Bumble Bee troop. The sting of the assignment is lessened when he meets the beautiful leader of another troop, played by Kelsey Chow.

Wife Swap (8pm, ABC) - Tonight is the sixth season finale and I just wish it was the series finale instead.

Whale Wars (9pm, Animal Planet) - The Sea Shepherd collides with a Japanese vessel and discovers a hole in the side of their ship with water gushing through.

Cropsey: The Urban Legend (9pm, Investigation Discovery) - A two-part documentary that examines a series of child murders from the 1980s that became linked to an urban legend. The second part airs at 10pm. Read more in Adrienne's review.

Dual Survival (10pm, Discovery) - A post-hurricane scenario has the hosts foraging in garbage for survival resources, and their course takes them to the coast of the Dominican Republic, which is littered with stinging creatures.

What to Watch on Friday: Wal-Mart is now producing TV movies

The Jensen Project (8pm, NBC) - Perhaps this should be called the "The Wal-Mart Project." This original family adventure movie was produced and financed by Wal-Mart and Proctor & Gamble, because the companies believe people will buy their products if they see advertising on family-friendly programming. The movie is about two former members of a secret society of genius researchers who embark on a mission with their teen son to thwart a rogue colleague and secure potentially deadly technology. Along the way, family bonds are strengthened. And we're guessing, Wal-Mart rolls back prices on Charmin.

Eureka (9pm, Syfy) - A runaway project named "Tiny" causes a panic in the town during the Founder's Day celebration.

Haven (10pm, Syfy) - As she tries to adapt to her new life in Haven, Audrey joins Nathan in a probe of the destruction of a local bar, which is soon followed by other strange events.

DC Cupcakes (10pm, TLC) - A new unscripted series follows two sisters (alas, without multiples, as far as I can tell) who own a booming cupcake business in Washington, D.C. In the premiere, the sisters build a huge Mardi Gras mask out of 1,000 cupcakes and donate them to a charity fundraiser. In a second episode airing at 10:30, the sisters make a life-size dog out of cupcakes for a local animal shelter fundraiser.

What to Watch on Friday: New Syfy series based on Stephen King work

Friday Night Lights (8pm, NBC) - Riggins tells Tami (the Emmy-nominated Connie Britton) about Becky's "delicate situation," which puts Tami in a tough spot. Vince has to help his mom through a serious health crisis.

Whale Wars (9pm, Animal Planet) - The Sea Shepherd finally tracks down the Nisshin Maru, the Japanese whaling vessel they've been hunting for a month.

Eureka (9pm, Syfy) - In the fourth season premiere, the town is set to celebrate its 60th anniversary and Zane stuns Deputy Lupo with a marriage proposal. Also, Sheriff Carter jogs into a surprise meeting with Dr. Trevor Grant (James Callis, "Battlestar Gallactica").

Haven (10pm, Syfy) - In the first episode of this new supernatural drama series inspired by Stephen King's "The Colorado Kid," FBI Agent Audrey Parker (Emily Rose, at right with Lucas Bryant) is sent to track an escaped federal prisoner who mysteriously dies shortly after reaching his hometown of Haven, Maine. Naturally, the people of Haven are just loaded up on various supernatural abilities.

What to Watch on Friday: Chopping Block finale, ghosts in Eureka

Chopping Block (8pm, NBC) - In the finale of Marco Pierre White's cooking competition show, the last two couples remodel their spaces, plan their menus, and prepare food for opening night. NBC did not renew this show for next season.

Stealing Lincoln's Body (9pm, History) - The unusual journey of Abraham Lincoln's body after his 1865 assassination, including a Chicago gang's plot in 1876 to steal his remains and hold them for ransom.

Eureka (9pm, SyFy) - After Dr. Tess Fontana reopens Section 5, objects become ambulatory and she thinks it could be the work of poltergeists.

Over a Barrel: The Truth About Oil (10pm, ABC) - Charles Gibson hosts a primer on the oil industry and how it works, and looks at the future for alternative energy sources.

What to Watch on Friday: Cable Guy's smarts are tested and Eureka returns

Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader (8pm, Fox) - There's a serious danger of folksy redneck overload tonight, when Larry the Cable Guy is a guest on this Jeff Foxworthy game show.

Eureka (9pm, Syfy) - Tonight's the premiere of the second half of the third season (got that?!) of this hit SyFy (formerly SciFi) show. The mid-season cliffhanger of whether or not Sheriff Jack Carter (Colin Ferguson) is actually fired will be answered tonight.

The Soup (10pm, E!) - If last week was any indication, Joel McHale will likely be making fun of over-the-top Michael Jackson coverage. Remember fans, he's mocking the talking heads, not the King of Pop.
