Emeril Lagasse's new series, "Emeril's Table," makes its debut today on the Hallmark channel.

In the half-hour instructional series, Emeril cooks for five guests and each show has a different theme. It will air Monday through Friday at 11 a.m. and Tuesday through Friday at 11:30 a.m.

Also on Hallmark, the new season of "The Martha Stewart Show" premieres today. Martha Stewart's Emmy-winning daytime series airs Monday - Friday at 10 a.m. The second season of "Martha Bakes," a sort of 'Baking 101' show, starts today and airs at 11:30 a.m. on Mondays only.

Other Hallmark series debuting today: "Mad Hungry with Lucinda Scala Quinn," airing Monday through Friday at noon, and  "Petkeeping with Marc Morrone," airing at 12:30 p.m. Monday - Friday.

Academy of Country Music Awards (8pm, CBS) - Reba McEntire hosts from Las Vegas. Performers include Lady Antebellum, Carrie Underwood, Kenny Chesney, Tim McGraw, and more. Plus, you'll see the last performance of Brooks & Dunn. Lady Antebellum (left) leads nominations with seven.

Life (8pm, Discovery) - The final installments of the the Discovery documentary series are about plants (8pm) and primates (9pm). There's a "making of" special airing at 10pm.

The Emeril Lagasse Show (8pm, Ion) - Emeril debuts his billionth television show, and this one is described as more of a variety show, featuring music and celebrity guests as well as food segments. We'll see... First guest is Martha Stewart.

If you were unfazed by the impending loss of FX and the Fuel channel tonight, thanks to the News Corp. battle with Time Warner Cable, perhaps the prospect of losing the Food Network will be enough to get your cheeks beet red.

Especially since this Sunday's big "Super Chef Battle" episode was to feature Michelle Obama and a special White House Garden showdown between Emeril Lagasse, Bobby Flay, Mario Batali, and White House Chef Cristeta Comerford.
