Whether you watch "All About Aubrey" (Oxygen, 10 tonight) probably depends on whether you have any idea who she is. And I could understand why you don't.

Yet although it's a little racy for the teenage girls who probably know who she is and would want to watch, there are some teachable moments on the show that makes it a little more than just promotional.

Some brief background: Aubrey O'Day was part of Danity Kane, a group rapper/super producer Sean "Diddy" Combs put together on his MTV reality show "Making the Band." The group went on to score two hit albums before fracturing. O'Day was actually fired as the cameras rolled.

A couple of hours before "20/20" broadcast the interview of singer Rihanna by Diane Sawyer, I was involved in a three-way, sometimes loud, discussion about the Rihanna/Chris Brown incident.

The guy in the conversation, who is a good guy, basically said that it was odd that Chris Brown beat Rihanna for no reason, thus suggesting that somehow Rihanna was at fault somehow, and then said that he thought it unfair that Chris Brown was still a pariah. He feels that we (society) shouldn't hold celebrities to a higher standard, and, I guess, in real life Chris wouldn't be having it so hard.

Again, this is a good guy. And I hope he watched Rihanna's interview because she addressed all his issues.

On last night's season finale of MTV's "Making His Band," Wilson's Jamareo Artis was picked as bass player when Sean "Diddy" Combs' new band Dirty Money goes out on tour.

In fact, just before he chose Jamereo from among two other bass players, Diddy said that Jamareo was the kind of person for whom he created the show, a talented someone who just needed a break to make it big.

Flipping Out (2pm & 10pm, Bravo) - We're treated to a mini-marathon of five episodes from season 2 of the highly-addictive reality show featuring obsessive-compulsive house flipper Jeff Lewis. Do yourself a favor and record these now. If you miss them, three of these eps air Tuesday starting at 11am. The 3rd season starts tonight at 10pm if you believe Bravo's website, or Tuesday night if you believe Time Warner's onscreen programming guide. Be ready, either way. UPDATE: Bravo has now changed their website to say TUESDAY night at 10pm...

The Closer (9pm, TNT) - Brenda and her team investigate a shooting in a school parking lot. Her niece, who is firmly on Fritz's bad side after the pot brownie episode last week, is right in the middle of the trouble. Also, there's a big change in Provenza's life. As long as the dapper detective (played by G.W. Bailey, left) isn't retiring, I'm cool with whatever he wants to do.

Jon & Kate Plus 8 (9pm, TLC) - Geez, they're squeezing that North Carolina vacation dry. Even though chronologically the family returned to Pennsylvania in last week's episode, tonight Kate and the 6 littlest ones tour the USS NC Battleship in Wilmington, and then the boys get haircuts.

Hoarders (10pm, A&E) - A  new series focusing on people with compulsive-hoarding disorder. The first episode features a mother and father and three children who live amongst piles of clothing, food, and miscellaneous junk. 

Making His Band (10pm, MTV) - Tonight the contestants are divided into groups to compete for judges. Root for Wilson NC's Jamereo Artis (right).

Unfortunately, we're hearing that Gregory Terrell Cox, one of the 19-year-old teens from Wilson, NC competing on the Sean Combs MTV reality show "Making His Band," was eliminated from the show last night.

According to Gregory's MySpace page, church has been a major influence on his music, and he has dreams of travelling and being a producer. You can listen to samples of his music on youtube. Jamareo Artis, also of Wilson, is still on the show.

Sugarland: Live on the Inside (8pm, ABC) - Country band Sugarland performs at Rupp Arena in Lexington, Kentucky.

Jon & Kate Plus 8 (9pm, TLC) - The show returns after a 5-week hiatus. Tonight, Kate and the kids vacation at Bald Head Island in North Carolina while Jon stays home to oversee kitchen renovations. Another new episode follows at 9:30, in which Kate and the kids camp in the backyard.

The Closer (9pm, TNT) - Sosie Bacon, daughter of Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick, stars as Brenda's niece in an episode about a father who may have falsely confessed to a murder to cover for his schizophrenic son.

Making His Band (10pm, MTV) - The finalists in the contest to be part of Diddy's band move into their new home, and tensions arise between the musicians who have been trained and those who are self-taught. Show features two teens from Wilson, NC.

Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List (10pm, Bravo) - Kathy gets a wax figure at Madame Tussauds, and then consults author Jackie Collins for tips on how to make her memoir steamier. Kathy also seeks publishing advice from Salman Rushdie and Oprah's buddy, Gayle King.

Tonight at 10 on MTV, two Wilson teens will try to become members of Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ band.

Jamereo Artis, 19, (pictured left) and Gregory Cox, 19, are two of the hopefuls appearing on “Making His Band,” a reality show aimed at helping the hip-hop mogul put together a back-up band to tour with him.

Cox heard about the show from the mother of his daughter. A keyboard player, he prepared for two weeks for his audition in New York.

He made the cut there and was then flown to Los Angeles. He’s been playing keyboards since 2004.
