Once Upon a Time (8pm, ABC) - In the Season 1 finale, Emma and Regina become unlikely allies in an attempt to save Henry's life. In the fairy-tale world, Prince Charming hopes to reunite with Snow White, but he isn't aware that she's bitten the Queen's poison apple.

Survivor: One World (8pm, CBS) - The finalists are questioned by the jury members, who then vote fot the winner. The winner is revealed during the 10 o'clock reunion show.

Desperate Housewives (9pm, ABC) - Tonight's 2-hour series finale ends the show's 8 year run on ABC. The finale wraps up Bree's trial on a trumped-up murder charge, and her relationship with her lawyer becomes more than business. Also, expect a deathbed confession.

The Celebrity Apprentice (9pm, NBC) - First, we'll find out who else Trump fired in last week's boardroom, then the final two contestants must create, host and sell tickets to a celebrity charity event that comes complete with a variety show and charity-awareness ad. Eight previously eliminated stars return to help in the challenge.

Masterpiece Mystery: Sherlock (9pm, UNC-TV) - Sherlock and Watson investigate a murder that occurred 20 years earlier. It was witnessed by the victim's son, who claims his father was killed by a monstrous hound. The case takes the pair to the British moors, where a top-secret military base is said to be the site of animal-mutilation experiments.

American Dad (9:30pm, Fox) - In the Season 7 finale, Stan takes Steve to Mexico to help his teen son grow up. When they get there, they are kidnapped by a drug cartel and it turns out that only Steve has a chance to free them.

Mad Men (10pm, AMC) - Don's competitive nature comes to the fore and Roger pursues new clients.

Girls (10:30pm, HBO) - Hannah tries a different tack with her boss to counter his inappropriate office behavior -- she propositions him. Meanwhile, Marnie does some soul-searching about her relationship with Charlie and Jessa wants the last word with her ex.

What to Watch on Sunday: Behind the scenes of 'Downton Abbey,' 'Walking Dead' finale

The Walking Dead (9pm, AMC) - Show creator Robert Kirkman promises "complete and utter chaos" in tonight's season finale. Can't wait!

The Celebrity Apprentice (9pm, NBC) - The players are assigned to write and produce a viral video promoting a mop. One team gets risque and the other team clashes. Note: Recap will come Monday by lunchtime.

Desperate Housewives (9pm, ABC) - On the day of Mike's funeral, each of the housewives recalls his impact on her life.

Downton Abbey: Behind the Drama (10pm, UNC-TV) - The cast and creators of "Downton Abbey" discuss the characters and storylines. Also, tours of Ealing Studios in London, where the "below stairs" scenes are shot, and Highclere Castle in Berkshire, where move "above stairs" scenes are filmed.

GCB (10pm, ABC) - Amanda is forced to confront her past when she attends a relationship seminar at church.

Eastbound & Down (10pm, HBO) - Kenny gets surprise visitors and tries to regain control of the team by throwing the mother of all Fourth of July parties.

What to Watch on Sunday: A mind-blowing 'Walking Dead'

ACC Tournament Championship (1pm, WRAL) - Championship game.

Bob's Burgers (8:30pm, Fox) - Season 2 opens with the kids in an abandoned taffy factory searching for treasure. Bob and Linda must find them before the building's scheduled demolition.

The Walking Dead (9pm, AMC) - This term is admittedly overused, but it's valid in this case: Tonight's episode is a game-changer!!! I'm dead serious. Rick, Shane (left), Daryl and Glenn head into the woods (at night!) to look for someone/something dangerous in the area. Something mind-blowing happens. Your Mind = Blown.

Desperate Housewives (9pm, ABC) - Speaking of your mind being blown, a major character is killed on tonight's show. Unfortunately, that surprise got blown earlier this week during the real-life Nicollette Sheridan/Marc Cherry trial (which has been fascinating!). You may already know who it is, but if you don't and want to know, Google your heart out.

The Celebrity Apprentice (9pm, NBC) - The contestants must produce a live event spotlighting a new Buick, but ... the choice for project manager is questioned on one team and a deep division develops on the other. A preview from last week featured Trump saying he would fire two people tonight.

The Good Wife (9pm, CBS) - Alicia defends Colin Sweeney (again) on sexual misconduct charges, which threaten to derail his attempt to regain control of his company.

Oprah's Next Chapter (9pm, OWN) - Oprah interviews Whitney Houston's daughter, Bobbi Kristina.

Coming Home (10pm, Lifetime) - Season 2 begins with a military dad, who is a huge Oakland Raiders fan, being reunited with his kids during the halftime show at a Raiders home game.

GCB (10pm, ABC) - Amanda worries that the sins of the mother will be visited on the daughter when Laura attends her old high school and encounters a new set of mean girls. Also, Carlene plots revenge for Amanda embarrassing her in church.

CSI: Miami (10pm, CBS) - The "Miami Taunter" kills again, and Horatio visits the matriarch (Raquel Welch) of the suspected killer's family.

Eastbound & Down (10pm, HBO) - Kenny thinks his son is cursed and maybe the blame for a recent run of bad luck.

What to Watch on Sunday: A night of 'Wives' (Army, Good, Desperate, Christian)

Army Wives (9pm, Lifetime) - The sixth season begins with the tribe preparing to leave Fort Marshall, but Roxy isn't prepared to move. Meanwhile, Joan gets the fort ready for a hurricane. A second new episode airs at 10.

Desperate Housewives (9pm, ABC) - Susan offers to help the father of Julie's baby to raise the child, and Bree decides to go to Maine with Orson -- maybe for good. None of this can be as crazy as the real life "Desperate Housewives" trial going on right now in Los Angeles.

The Good Wife (9pm, CBS) - Alicia defends a documentary filmmaker who is blamed for a student's suicide. Meanwhile, power grabs are made at the Will-less firm, and Peter discovers the price of taking the moral high ground.

The Walking Dead (9pm, AMC) - There's a real shocker in tonight's episode. Not kidding at all. Rick and Shane decide they must kill their prisoner, and Dale pushes back against what he sees as a lack of humanity fostering among the group. And Carl's actions have an unexpected and tragic impact on the group (stupid, stupid Carl!). Do not wait to watch this one or someone will spoil it for you on Monday.

The Celebrity Apprentice (9pm, NBC) - The dysfunctional women's team may finally get a break when the contestants design living storefront window displays for a fashion collection. Or maybe not... Also, Dee Snider has surgery to repair the finger broken in last week's episode.

GCB (10pm, ABC) - The pilot for a new dramedy about a disgraced widow who moves back to Dallas to start over, but has to contend with a group of women who are eager to get revenge for her mean behavior in high school. Adapted from a novel called "Good Christian Bitches," this could be called "Desperate Housewives of Dallas." Stars Annie Potts and Kristen Chenoweth (left). Here's my "GCB" review.

Kandi Factory (10pm, Bravo) - Kandi Burruss invites two fledgling performers to Atlanta, where her team of experts attempts to mold them into pop stars. The singer with the most promise has a song released and gets to star in a music video.

Breakout Kings (10pm, A&E) - In the Season 2 premiere, the team hunts a merciless serial killer whom Lloyd's testimony helped convict.

A campy lesson in vengeance from ABC's new 'GCB'

With tonight's premiere of "GCB" (10 p.m.), it looks like ABC has in deed found its true "Desperate Housewives" replacement.

In fact, "Desperate Housewives of Dallas" might have been a more accurate and less confusing name than the family-friendly "GCB" title, adapted from Kim Gatlin's popular novel, "Good Christian Bitches" (ABC also, for awhile, called the show "Good Christian Belles.")

In "GCB," Amanda Vaughn (Leslie Bibb, right) returns home to Dallas with her two teens after her Ponzi-scheming Santa Barbara husband is killed in a car accident while trying to flee the country with a few billion dollars and his slutty girlfriend.

Amanda, a reformed Mean Girl, believes the biggest problems in her reluctant return to Dallas will be getting a job and getting along with her super rich, controlling mother Gigi (Annie Potts, pictured with Bibb).

But what Amanda doesn't count on is having to survive the unholy wrath of the women she tormented in high school.

What to Watch on Sunday: Grammys, zombies, comic books

Grammy Awards (8pm, CBS) - LL Cool J hosts the 54th annual music event from the Staples Center in Los Angeles. Kanye West leads all nominations with seven. Scheduled to perform: Adele, Paul McCartney, Coldplay, Rihanna, Foo Fighters, Taylor Swift, the Beach Boys, Bruce Springsteen, Tony Bennett, Carrie Underwood and many others. Our own David Menconi will be live-blogging the event and tracking how our local nominees do.

The Walking Dead (9pm, AMC) - The second season resumes in the aftermath of the bloodbath (wait, do zombies bleed?) at the barn. Rick tries to restore order and a devastated Hershel turns to the bottle for solace. Some new characters are introduced tonight, including a shady traveler played by Michael Raymond James ("Terriers," "True Blood"). James' scenes have the feel of a tense, classic Western. He's a welcome addition to the show. Can we swap him for Lori?

Downton Abbey (9pm, UNC-TV) - The Spanish flu sweeps through the household infecting Cora, Lavinia and Mr. Carson.

Desperate Housewives (9pm, ABC) - Susan is shocked when Julie returns  home very pregnant, and Bree's drinking and lust continues unabated.

Luck (9pm, HBO) - Jerry pursues a deal to buy the horse that Renzo lost to Mulligan while also talking to Escalante about training it. I've been on the fence about this show, and reports that horses are being injured and euthanized during production haven't helped me.

Comic Book Men (10pm, AMC) - A new series that looks at life in and around a New Jersey comic book store opens with manager Walt challenging the staff to a sales competition at a flea market.

House of Lies (10pm, Showtime) - Marty takes on Roscoe's school after his son is slapped with sexual harassment charges for kissing another boy.

What to Watch on Sunday: Get your gross-out zombie fix on "The Walking Dead"

Once Upon a Time (8pm, ABC) - Emma helps a pregnant woman escape from Mr. Gold (aka Rumpelstiltskin). Speaking of the spindly swindler, Cinderella makes a mistake in the fairy tale world when she strikes a bad deal with him.

The Walking Dead (9pm, AMC) - While searching the woods for clues, Daryl is seriously injured and set upon by zombies. Meanwhile, Glenn believes he is getting romantic signals from Maggie, but then isn't so sure, and Herschel makes it clear the travelers are fine to stay on the farm for now, but not indefinitely.

Desperate Housewives (9pm, ABC) - Chuck begins to harass Bree as his suspicions about her role in Alejandro's disappearance grow. Also, Lynette devises a plan to salvage her marriage as her 22nd wedding anniversary nears.

Boardwalk Empire (9pm, HBO) - Nucky turns to Arnold Rothstein for political advice in the aftermath of a personal loss, but Eli remains unsure of his brother's motives.

Homeland (10pm, Showtime) - Carrie and Brody spend a weekend in the countryside, which ends up complicating their relationship further.

All-American Muslim (10pm, TLC) - This new series about five Muslim-American families living in Dearborn, Michigan, begins with a Catholic man considering a conversion to the Islamic faith of his girlfriend, which causes friction with his mother.

The Good Wife (10pm, CBS) - Alicia tries to win a stay of execution for a guilty man because he has information that could keep another one of her clients from a murder conviction. Meanwhile, Eli races to get ahead of a client's potential scandal. MSNBC host Chris Matthews guest stars as himself.

What to Watch on Sunday: Big premieres! Lots of new stuff tonight.

Extreme Makeover: Home Edition (8pm, ABC) - First Lady Michelle Obama appears in this Season 9 premiere, which features the residence for homeless female veterans in Fayetteville. The Steps-N-Stages Jubiliee house was founded by Navy veteran Barbara Marshall, and was renovated with the help of armed forces members and the Godfrey Group of Durham. Photos from the construction.

Amazing Race 19 (8pm, CBS) - The 19th season begins with 11 two-team members, including former "Survivor" winners Ethan Zohn and Jenna Morasca. The show introduces a new "hazard" penalty this season.

The Simpsons (8pm, Fox) - The Season 23 premiere has Homer involved in a terrorist plot and features Kiefer Sutherland as a security guard. Meanwhile, Marge dreams of being on "Top Chef," so Tom Colicchio lends his voice.

Cleveland Show (8:30pm, Fox) - In the Season 3 premiere, Cleveland is upset when Peter (Seth McFarlane) comes to town and doesn't look him up, she goes camping with Ric Flair.

Boardwalk Empire (9pm, HBO) - Lots of trouble all around for Nucky Thompson in tonight's second season premiere. Nucky (Steve Buscemi) must try to play peacemaker after Chalky has a dangerous run-in with the KKK, and must also try to dodge the feds, who are still after him. Meanwhile, Al Capone looks to expand the illegal booze business in and around Chicago, and Agent Nelson Van Alden's wife comes for a visit.

The Good Wife (9pm, CBS) - Season 3 opens with Alicia defending a Muslim student accused of murdering a Jewish classmate. Look for the animosity between Alicia and Peter to heat up this season. And based on this new poster, look for the romance between Alicia and Will to heat up as well.

Desperate Housewives (9pm, ABC) - The eighth and final season begins with the ladies and Carlos trying to dispose of the body of Gaby's evil stepfather after Carlos killed him to protect Gaby.

Family Guy (9pm, Fox) - The Griffins are broke as Season 11 opens, but Peter has a plan to turn that around: the purchase of 200,000 lottery tickets.

American Dad (9:30pm, Fox) - In the seventh season premiere, Stan buys a singing hot tub. Cee-Lo Green provides his own voice and that of the hot tub.

Pan Am (10pm, ABC) - A new series following the adventures of stewardesses and pilots during the glamorous 1960s "Jet Age." The show is pretty to look at, but not much happens in the first episode. Still, I'm hopeful enough to watch at least once more (read my short review). Christina Ricci stars.

CSI: Miami (10pm, CBS) - The tenth season begins with Horatio bleeding from a gunshot wound and Natalia battling to free herself from the trunk of a submerged car, as the other CSIs try to capture an escaped murderer before he kills again.

Breaking Bad (10pm, AMC) - This isn't a premiere, but it's worth mentioning because it's the best thing on TV tonight (or any night). And we're getting close to the season winding down. Tonight, Walt makes moves to protect his secret and to protect Gus. Meanwhile, Skyler is further stymied in her attempt to help Ted with his financial problem.

Also tonight, a new season of "60 Minutes" (CBS, 7pm) begins, "Drop Dead Diva" (Lifetime, 9pm) season finale, and the second season of "The Great Food Truck Race" (Food, 9pm) ends.

What to Watch on Sunday: 'Desperate Housewives' finale ends in murder

Survivor Redemption Island (8pm, CBS) - Three hour finale. Hydrate.

Extreme Home Makeover (8pm, ABC) - In the season finale, the team helps a family with a 9-year-old with brittle bone disease.

South Riding (9pm, PBS) - The conclusion to the Masterpiece Theatre series, in which Robert faces difficulties due to his stand against political corruption.

Desperate Housewives (9pm, ABC) - In the two-hour season finale, the neighborhood welcomes Susan home with a party that ends in murder. Also, Gaby learns the identity of her stalker and Bree hears a rumor about her new cop boyfriend Chuck (left) and begins to suspect that he might be gay.

Celebrity Apprentice (9pm, NBC) - Trump has previous winners Piers Morgan, Joan Rivers, and Bret Michaels help him pick the season's two finalists. They'll do that by quizzing John Rich, Lil Jon, Meat Loaf, and Marlee Matlin (any chance it's not Rich vs. Matlin for the finale?). Then the final two compete in a soda company challenge. Six ousted celebrities return to help them.

Cleveland Show (9:30pm, Fox) - The Season 2 finale follows the Brown-Tubbses to Comic-Con. Guest voices include Emily Deschanel, Eliza Dushku, Katee Sackhoff, and director Robert Rodriguez.

What to Watch on Sunday: A big night for cable dramas

The Kennedys (8pm, Reelz) - This controversial mini-series about the Kennedy clan begins tonight. We didn't get an advance copy to view and we've only heard horrible things about it, which is a shame considering the cast: Tom Wilkinson, Greg Kinnear, Barry Pepper, and Katie Holmes.

Academy of Country Music Awards (8pm, CBS) - Seriously. How many country music awards shows are there every year? Reba McEntire and Blake Shelton host this one from Las Vegas. Miranda Lambert leads nominations with seven. Scheduled to perform: Lambert, Taylor Swift, Keith Urban, Brad Paisley, Jason Aldean, Toby Keith.

Nature (8pm, UNC-TV) - "Outback Pelicans" looks at Australia's nomadic pelicans, which travel over 1000 miles inland to feast on fish and brine shrimp that appear in the usually dry Lake Eyre (which is the size of Texas, Oklahoma, and New Mexico combined) whenever it floods.

The Killing (9pm, AMC) - AMC's newest series is an adaptation of a wildly popular Danish TV crime drama, intertwining three perspectives of a murder in Seattle. In tonight's two-hour opener, Detective Sarah Linden's last day on the job is interrupted by the murder investigation of a 17-year-old girl who was supposed to be spending the weekend with a friend. Linden is played by Mireille Enos ('Big Love'). Billy Campbell ('Once and Again') also stars. Check out our review.

The Borgias (9pm, Showtime) - The premiere of a new 10-part drama about the infamous Renaissance-era Italian family headed by Rodrigo Borgias (Jeremy Irons) who schemes his way into being elected Pope Alexander VI.

Celebrity Apprentice (9pm, NBC) - This is the one where Meat Loaf absolutely loses it.

Desperate Housewives (9pm, ABC) - Paul Young tries to stop Susan from getting his dead wife's kidney.

Army Wives (9pm, Lifetime) - The aftermath of Jeremy's tragic death leads to life-changing decisions for the wives.

Body of Proof (10pm, ABC) - No, you're not crazy. This new Dana Delany drama normally airs on Tuesday nights at 10pm. Consider tonight a special ... treat? Tonight, a young interracial couple is found shot and killed in their car and Dr. Hunt finds evidence that contradicts the police theory of the crime.
