Daylight magazine and Panciuto team up for Single Source Suppers

Daylight, a photography magazine based in Hillsborough, is hosting a Single Source Supper on June 15.

The nonprofit magazine's founders, Taj Forer and Michael Itkoff, have teamed up with chef Aaron Vandemark of Panciuto in Hillsborough for this event and more to come.

In the backyard of where the magazine rents studio space in downtown Hillsborough, they will set up tables for 60 people for dinner. All the food will be sourced from Eco Farm, the work of farmers Cindy Econopouly and John Soehner.  The menu will include local beer and wine and likely will not be finalized until closer to the date.

The event is 7-10 p.m. These dinners will include an art experience; in this case, the screening of a short documentary film. The cost is $80 per person. (The website still says the dinner cost $130 but that is not correct, per Forer when I interviewed him today.)

To make a reservation, call Panciuto at 919-732-6261.

(Forer has some local farm connections. He helped start Lil' Farm with farmer George O'Neal, who sells at the Carrboro and Durham farmers markets.)
