The UNC Flash Rave, the 10-minute, formerly spontaneous dance party that students hold at the campus library now each semester during final exams, has turned into quite the event.
It has quickly grown in size since a small group of students started it three semesters ago, and now, with campus officials worry that maybe it's going to soon get out of hand.
Campus officials have pledged to give the rave issue a thorough review now, but many will base their discussions on youtube video, because top officials from some key campus offices - fire marshal, student affairs - knew the event was happening but did not attend.
So should the raves continue?
