Earth Fare grocery stores have launched a new program to help save shoppers money. Even better, when you sign up to check it out, you'll receive a $10 store credit.

You'll automatically receive 1,000 points for signing up for the new Tomato Bank program, which means you have an automatic $10 to spend the next time you shop at Earth Fare, a small chain of healthy living grocery stores based in Asheville.

Earth Fare has one store in the Triangle in the Brier Creek area of North Raleigh.

Amazon shoppers will want to snag this deal, but grab it quick before it disappears.

Via Facebook, the online retailer is offering a $5 credit on a $25 order.

There are a few exclusions, such as the Kindle, but all-in-all, a great deal.

Would you pay more to use your credit card?

Last week's anti-trust settlement between the credit card companies and major retailers over so-called swipe fees could mean higher prices for consumers who choose to pay with plastic.

We could conceivably see a two-tiered pricing system in stores: one price for customers paying with cash and a higher price for those paying with credit.
