Vandermaas-Peeler wins Gatorade award

Cooper Vandermaas-Peeler of Athens Drive High School is Gatorade North Carolina Boys Soccer Player of the Year.

Vandermaas-Peeler heads Athens' list

Athens Drive will have at least four players signing this fall with their college of choice. Three of them, Cooper Vandermaas-Peeler, Tyler Draovitch and Andrew Joyce, played on the 4-A East semifinalist boys soccer team. Vandermaas-Peeler, heading to UNC-Chapel Hill was a member of the U18 men's national team that competed in Israel in December, even scoring a goal.

Vandermaas-Peeler to represent USA's U-18 team

Athens Drive's Cooper Vandermaas-Peeler was named to the USA's U-18 men's soccer team and will compete this week in Tel Aviv, Israel.
