Sold out: Last chance to sign up for my coupon class this Saturday

Here's one last friendly reminder about my coupon class, which is coming up this Saturday in downtown Apex.

You have until Friday to sign up.

And let me just say, if you've been on the fence about attending, maybe the perks will sway you.

Not only will you leave the half-day class with all the coupon know-how to save 50 percent or more on your grocery bill, but you'll walk away with some mighty nice freebies.

Everyone who attends will receive the 2012 Attractions coupon book, which is loaded with coupons for restaurants and local attractions and entertainment spots.

I've also got lots of things I'll be giving away as door prizes, including a $25 gift card to The Container Store, movie passes, grocery gift cards, free McDonald's iced coffee drink coupons, cookbooks, children's books, full-size samples of a new line of natural food products, and coupons for free Bruegger's bagels.

For those of you who choose to attend the optional coupon swap afterward at the Bruegger's in Apex, I'll also be giving away more Bruegger's coupons for free bagels.

Here are all the details:

We have a winner in the $25 Container Store gift card giveaway

A huge thanks to all of you who entered to win the $25 gift card to The Container Store.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading your confessions of clutter, your tips on organization and even your pleas for help.

A self-proclaimed pack rat who drives her husband crazy, one reader declared that a trip to The Container Store just might save her marriage.

Talk about pressure!

Don't forget: Container Store deals and a giveaway

NOTE: You have until midnight Tuesday, May 29, to enter this giveaway. I'll post the winner Wednesday morning. If you're in organizing mode, listen up.

I'm giving away a $25 gift card to The Container Store in Raleigh.

To the uninitiated, The Container Store is an organizer junkie's paradise -- an entire store filled with boxes, bins, bags, racks, pegs, pouches, vessels, crates, files -- you name it.

If you're doing a major blitz on clutter or just want to straighten out your kitchen junk drawer, it's a great place to stop in -- if not to purchase, to glean ideas and tips.

To enter the giveaway, leave me a tip about organization in the comments section below. Or confess your organizational weaknesses.

I'd love to hear how you think organization -- or your lack thereof -- affects your bottom line.
