Softball teams vie for Final Four spot

By week's end, we'll be down to four teams in each classification for the softball playoffs. Each class' final four teams move to next week's state championships at Walnut Creek as part of a double-elimination tournament.

Boys tennis playoff brackets set

The NCHSAA boys dual-team tennis playoffs begin Tuesday, and the brackets were unveiled today. The winners advance to next Tuesday's second round. The regionals for the individual boys tennis championships begin Friday at area venues.
