Just in case: Store hours on Christmas Day

If you have to dash out on Christmas Day for a last-minute ingredient or gift, here's a rundown of what's open and what's not:

Grocery stores:

Aldi: Closed Christmas Day.

Food Lion: Stores close at 6 p.m. Christmas Eve. Closed Christmas Day.

Harris Teeter: Stores close at 7 p.m. Christmas Eve. Closed Christmas Day. Stores will open at 8 a.m. Dec. 26.

Lowes Foods: Stores close at 6 p.m. Christmas Eve. Closed Christmas Day.

Drugstores:

CVS: Open Christmas Day. Pharmacy hours vary.

Rite Aid: Open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Christmas Day. Pharmacy open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Walgreens: Open 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Christmas Day except 24-hour stores, which are always open. Pharmacies open in 24-hour stores.
