The Wake County school board appointed four principals early Wednesday morning.

Timothy Chadwick was promoted from assistant principal to principal of Weatherstone Elementary School in Cary. Chadwick, who has been at Weatherstone since 2011, will receive a salary of $69,548.

Cheryl Fenner was named principal of Fuller Elementary School in Raleigh with a salary of $81,495.Fenner has been assistant principal of Hilburn Elementary School in North Raleigh since 2005.
