Raleigh’s Cardinal and Capital City clubs are hosting a Downtown BBQ Bash on Sept. 13.
The 6 p.m. event at the Cardinal Club in downtown Raleigh is open to the public. Tickets cost $15 per person or $28 for two people. Beyond a barbecue feast, the event includes a silent auction, live band and local celebrity judging of which chefs cook up the best pork barbecue.
The event will raise money for three charities: The Muscular Dystrophy Association; The Food Effect, a hunger relief organization that helps support seven food banks in the state; and ClubCorp’s Employee Partner Care Foundation, which helps the company’s employees and their families with financial assistance during times of crises. ClubCorp owns both the Cardinal and the Capital City clubs.
The event is co-sponsored with the N.C. Pork Council.
