What to Watch on Tuesday: Fox guest stars and Nazi hunters

Glee (8pm, Fox) - This is not an endorsement, I'm just telling you it's still on the air... Sue starts a smear campaign to take down her biggest foe for the congressional seat, and Will and Shelby Corcoran encourage some friendly competition.

New Girl (9pm, Fox) - Also not really an endorsement, although last week's episode was slightly less annoying than usual... Tonight, the gang hosts Thanksgiving dinner at the loft and Jess invites a colleague (Justin Long) she's always had a crush on.

Raising Hope (9:30pm, Fox) - This is an endorsement! Burt's well-to-do parents (Lee Majors, Shirley Jones, left) are last minute Thanksgiving guests, but the Chances' decision to "borrow" someone else's house for the feast takes a bad turn when the real owners come home early.

Nazi Hunter: Elusive Justice (9pm, UNC-TV) - Another endorsement: Candice Bergen narrates this account of Nazi war criminals who evaded prosecution, including some who served the Allies as scientists and spies. The documentary explores why governments and institutions failed to prosecute and punish them, and those who took matters into their own hands. This repeats at 3 a.m. on UNC-MX and November 17 at 2 a.m. on UNC-TV.

Parenthood (10pm, NBC) - Huge endorsement! Seriously, this show is so good. Tonight, Adam and Crosby land a new client and Adam has an uncomfortable (understatement!) run-in with Rachel, the possibly-skanky office assistant.

Unforgettable (10pm, CBS) - I abstain from editorializing because I've never actually seen a whole episode of this, but they do have Marilu Henner tonight... Carrie and Al investigate the murder of a teen who seemed to have no enemies. Elsewhere, Carrie seeks help from her estranged aunt (Henner, who also serves as a consultant for the show) to help probe her sister's murder.

What to Watch on Monday: Cuddy's mom threatens to sue on 'House'

House (8pm, Fox) - Cuddy's mother (Candice Bergen, left with Lisa Edelstein) considers filing a malpractice suit against the hospital (why doesn't this happen more often on this show?!), which could put her daughter's and House's medical licenses in jeopardy. Meanwhile, luck runs out for a partially paralyzed lottery winner (Donal Logue, 'Terriers').

Chuck (8pm, NBC) - Chuck puts spying on hold to enjoy his bachelor party, but the bash takes surprising turns thanks to some surprising guests.

Chicago Code (9pm, Fox) - Teresa and Jarek face a big setback in their war against Gibbons when a crooked city official gets acquitted by a deadlocked jury. They look into the situation and find not only jury tampering, but other misdeeds as well.

Castle (10pm, ABC) - Antics move to Los Angeles, as Beckett goes rogue to pursue a suspect in her former partner's murder. Castle tags along and the two visit the movie set of "Heat Wave," where the cast proves to be helpful in breaking open the case.

Nurse Jackie (10pm, Showtime) - Akalitus is in an uproar as workers from the archdiocese remove her religious statues, and a pushy new temp nurse (Gbenga Akinnagbe, 'The Wire') makes his presence known in the ER.

Hawaii Five-0 (10pm, CBS) - A famous fashion photographer (Rick Springfield) who is in Hawaii to shoot a sports magazine's annual swimsuit issue is murdered. Detectives should really lock down the whereabouts of Jessie.

What to Watch on Monday: Favorites return, new shows premiere

How I Met Your Mother (8pm, CBS) - The gang accompanies Marshall to Minnesota in the wake of his father's death, and Marshall meets the bully who used to terrorize him in high school.

House (8pm, Fox) - House tries to avoid Cuddy's birthday dinner because her opinionated mother (Candice Bergen, left) will be there. I can't wait for this. Bergen is scheduled to appear in a multiple-episode arc.

The Bachelor (8pm, ABC) - Emily, the former fiance of late NASCAR driver Ricky Hendrick, finally tells the girls in the house about her tragic past. But will she able to tell Brad on their romantic one-on-one date? Also, Seal serenades one of Brad's dates and one woman asks to leave the competition. Look for a recap of the show late tonight.

Piers Morgan Tonight (9pm, CNN) - The first show from the "Larry King Live" replacement, which is hosted by TV personality Piers Morgan. Morgan's first guest is Oprah Winfrey.

Being Human (9pm, Syfy) - The first episode in a new series that follows three supernatural beings who try to live like humans. It's a remake of a very popular British series. See our review.

Harry's Law (10pm, NBC) - Kathy Bates stars in a quirky new legal drama from David E. Kelley (is there any other kind of David E. Kelley drama?). Bates plays a once-successful patent attorney named Harriet Korn, who is fired and decides to start over with her own practice. She opens an office in an abandoned shoe store in a rough section of Cincinnati and in her first case, defends a troubled young man (Aml Ameen) facing his third drug offense. Nate Corddry joins the firm as another attorney and Brittany Snow plays the secretary. We didn't get a copy to preview, but the buzz is "meh." We like David E. Kelley and Kathy Bates, so we're giving it a shot.

Skins (10pm, MTV) - In yet another American adaptation of a British show, this edgy new series is aimed at teens. Tonight, Tony offers to help Stanley lose his virginity. Should your teens watch? Adrienne helps you answer that question.

"Murphy Brown" and "Star Trek" headed to TV Hall of Fame

Candice Bergen, Gene Roddenberry, and The Smothers Brothers are among those to be inducted into the TV Hall of Fame in January.

Bergen is best known for her role on the sitcom "Murphy Brown," which ran for ten years on CBS. Bergen won a record five Emmys for her portrayal of recovering alcoholic TV news reporter Murphy Brown. The show made headlines in 1992 when Vice President Dan Quayle criticized the fictional character for having a baby out of wedlock. Bergen most recently played starred on "Boston Legal" as law partner Shirley Schmidt.

Roddenberry, who passed away in 1991, created "Star Trek" in 1964. The show didn't air until 1966, and only ran for three seasons on NBC, but has had a tremendous impact on popular culture.

One last time: 'Denny Crane!'

Boston Legal ends its five year run tonight with a 2-hour finale starting at 9pm on ABC.

Boston Legal is quirky and clever in an almost branded David E. Kelley way, and has brought us some of the most memorable, most complicated characters in all of television. The most endearing of all has to be William Shatner's inimitable Denny Crane.

What to Watch on Monday: Boston Legal still courting controversy

Monday Night Football (8pm, ESPN) - San Francisco (2-6) plays Arizona (5-3) in the NFC West.

How I Met Your Mother (8:30pm, CBS) - Lily and Marshall contemplate having a baby. Nooooo! Don't become *that* sitcom!

Boston Legal (10pm, ABC) - Boston Legal is scheduled to end with its 13th episode in December, so we're winding down here. The show is as strong as ever, and the writers aren't playing it safe in the home stretch.  In tonight's episode, Shirley (pictured) and Alan help an underage girl who needs special permission from the courts to obtain an abortion.
