Bones (8pm, Fox) - Series star David Boreanaz directs the Season 7 finale, which features the return of Christopher Pelant when the "hactivist" and suspected serial killer is back in court, but the team's efforts to pin another murder on him don't go as planned after evidence points to Brennan as the culprit.

America's Got Talent (8pm, Fox) - Howard Stern joins judges Howie Mandel and Sharon Osbourne in the show's seventh season premiere.

How I Met Your Mother (8pm, CBS) - The seventh season ends with Lily going into labor while Marshall is partying in Atlantic City. Later in the one-hour finale, action jumps to the future as the gang gather for Barney's wedding and reminisce about how they emboldened Ted to find his true love and track down the one that got away.

Gossip Girl (8pm, CW) - Blair makes a choice between Chuck and Dan in the fifth season finale.

Bachelorette (9pm, ABC) - Emily Maynard begins her search for love in her hometown of Charlotte. Emily starts with 25 suitors and pares the group to 19.

Johnny Carson: American Masters (9pm, UNC-TV) - Kevin Spacey narrates this insightful profile of Johnny Carson, whose cool charm, quick wit and masterful timing made him the king of late night TV during his 30-year "Tonight Show" run. The biography features a wealth of show clips and remarks by family, friends, and colleagues.

Two and a Half Men (9pm, CBS) - In the ninth season finale, Jake makes an important decision about his future after graduating from high school.

Hart of Dixie (9pm, CW) - The first season ends with a huge storm hitting town on George and Lemon's wedding day.

Mike and Molly (9:30pm, CBS) - In the Season 2 finale, Mike and Molly walk down the aisle but the trip is not without a few wedding day glitches.

Smash (10pm, NBC) - The first season finale, Derek makes a major decision and it affects both Karen and Ivy. Meanwhile, Tom and Julia scramble to save the show, and Ellis reveals where his loyalties truly lie.

Hawaii Five-0 (10pm, CBS) - The second season concludes with the Five-0 losing one of its own in the line of duty. Meanwhile, another team member is forced to choose between kidnapped loved ones.

Hart of Dixie (9pm, CW) - Scotty McCreery makes an appearance on tonight's episode, but there's no acting involved -- he'll be playing himself. The "American Idol" winner from Garner will perform his hit "The Trouble With Girls" during a romantic scene in a bar featuring Zoe (Rachel Bilson) and George (Scott Porter). Raleigh's Tift Merritt had a similar gig on "Hart of Dixie" back in February. Tift sang "Sweet Spot" at the town's annual Valentine's dance. Bones (8pm, Fox) - Booth's son Parker comes home from England, and Brennan wonders how he'll react to his new baby sister. Meanwhile, the discovery of a truck-company employee's corpse in the woods prompts a visit to the victim's son's karate class.

American Pickers (9pm, History) - Mike searches for the legendary XAVW motorbike in North Carolina, and Frank gambles on a collection of Indian artifacts. Also in this episode, architectural salvage and a military artifact.

20/20: Dance Floor Confidential (10pm, ABC) - ABC squeezes another hour of programming from their "Dances with the Stars" franchise by having 20/20 go "behind the scenes."

Smash (10pm, NBC) - Karen finds Rebecca's charmed life very enticing, but Derek finds Rebecca to be exasperating. Meanwhile, Eileen has her ex-husband meet her hunky new boyfriend, and Julia's son goes missing (First thought: "Hooray!" Second thought: "I hope Ellis is with him!").

What to Watch on Monday: Extreme couponer murdered on 'Bones'

Bones (8pm, Fox) - Booth (David Boreanaz, left) and Brennan get help from Special Agent Genny Shaw in identifying the remains of an extreme couponer whose body was dragged by an 18-wheeler. Meanwhile, Brennan returns to work after having her baby.

Gossip Girl (8pm, CW) - Serena wants to pass her It-Girl torch to a hesitant Lola, whom she pressures to do a modeling gig at a lingerie show. Elsewhere, Chuck seeks Blair's guidance regarding his past.

How I Met Your Mother (8pm, CBS) - Speculations run wild as Ted, Barney and Marshall imagine what their lives would be like three years down the road.

2 Broke Girls (8:30pm, CBS) - Max and Caroline participate in a clinical drug trial to raise money to help Caroline's imprisoned father.

Smash (10pm, NBC) - A famous movie star (played by Uma Thurman) signs to do the show, but then gets stuck in Cuba.

Hawaii Five-0 (10pm, CBS) - Max believes that a serial killer who has ties to his past and is known as the Trashman is responsible for a recent murder. To convince the Five-0 that his theory is correct, Max reveals some some surprising information about his childhood.

Bones (8pm, Fox) - An escaped convict's remains are found in a residential sewer pipe, but the team find evidence that a murder occurred inside a prison.

NCAA Championship (9pm, CBS) - The championship game in New Orleans.

American Masters: Margaret Mitchell (9pm, UNC-TV) - "Margaret Mitchell: American Rebel" profiles the author who blazed trails as one of Georgia's first female newspaper reporters and the author of "Gone with the Wind." Mitchell (left) funded the education of the South's first black doctors with her "Gone with the Wind" money. Includes reenactments based on her letters and remarks by friend Sara Mitchell Parsons and prominent authors such as Pat Conroy and Pearl Cleage. At 10 p.m., a second episode of "American Masters" will focus on Harper Lee, whose childhood in Monroe, Alabama, provided the inspiration for her classic 1960 novel, "To Kill a Mockingbird." Castle (10pm, ABC) - A Scotland Yard detective works with Castle and Beckett to solve the murder of a British model whom he knew personally. Meanwhile, Lanie advises Beckett to stop stalling and pursue Castle romantically.

Smash (10pm, NBC) - A top-tier star is sought for the musical, and Eileen wants Tom to come up with a new name for the show.

Intervention (10pm, A&E) - In the 12th-season finale, a mother and former model battles a daily dependence on alcohol, and a once-promising cellist now smokes PCP.

Lost Girl (10pm, Syfy) - Bo and Dyson portray a married couple at a country club to help a friend from Kenzi's criminal past.

You can see it in the easy bromance between Geoff Stults and Michael Clarke Duncan. You can see it in the assortment of oddball Florida swamp characters. You can tell by the fact that suddenly you're being treated to a John Fogerty jam. "The Finder" (Fox, 9 tonight) has potential.

So even though this first episode doesn't quite gel, I have a feeling we shouldn't give up on this show.

If you didn't see the "Bones" episode that introduced the characters, "The Finder" is Walter Sherman (Stults), a war vet with a brain injury that gives him the ability, and the unceasing desire, to find things. His best bud Leo (Duncan) is kind of his manager, but he also has this wise man protector thing going too. They live and hang out at a bar called the Ends of the Earth on Looking Glass Key, along with Willa Monday (Maddie Hasson), a young grifter, who may or may not be reforming her ways. They've also got a Deputy U.S. Marshal friend (Mercedes Masohn).

Community (8pm, NBC) - In the show's annual Christmas episode, Greendale's choir director (Taran Killam) recruits the study group to fill in for the sidelined glee club. Though initially skeptical, the gang soon get in the spirit for the school's Christmas pageant.

Person of Interest (9pm, CBS) - Detective Carter is identified as a person of interest and Reese and Finch must save her without exposing themselves.

Bones (9pm, Fox) - The team discovers the death of a storm chaser may not have been caused by the tornado he ws following. Meanwhile, Booth becomes very  protective of Brennan at home and at work.

Grimm (10pm, NBC) - This is a new time for "Grimm," which is good for "Grimm" fans but sad for fans of "Prime Suspect," which used to sit in this spot. Tonight, a high school teacher's death kicks off an investigation that leads Nick (Dave Giuntoli, right) to a troubled musical prodigy. Another new episode of "Grimm" will air tomorrow night at 9 in its normal timeslot.

The Great Big American Auction (10pm, ABC) - I'm not exactly sure how he's qualified for this, but Ty Pennington helps the owners of rare collectibles uncover their items' worth, and the top items are then put in a bidding war at an auction.

Burn Notice (10pm, USA) - Jesse calls in the team to help stop a smuggler from bringing blood diamonds into the country. If I had to come up with one word to explain why I lost interest in this show, I'd point to the first one in this blurb.

Santa Claus is Comin' to Town (8pm, ABC) - I've said this before. I consider "Santa Claus is Comin' to Town" to be a documentary on the origin of Santa Claus. Required watching if you haven't already seen it.

Community (8pm, NBC) - Jeff and Shirley join forces to take on arrogant classmates in a game of foosball. Elsewhere, Annie doesn't come clean after she accidentally breaks Abed's new DVD, and the lie quickly snowballs when Abed launches a search to find the culprit.

CMA Country Christmas (9pm, ABC) - Sugarland's Jennifer Nettles returns as host of this special featuring traditional songs and memories of holiday experiences. Scheduled performances include Vince Gill, Amy Grant, Martina McBride, Rascal Flatts, Faith Hill, Darius Rucker  and . . .  Scotty McCreery! Scotty will sing "The First Noel."

Keep a Child Alive with Alicia Keys (9pm, Showtime) - Alicia Keys guides five American contest winners on a tour of South Africa, where they visit Keep a Child Alive-funded sites in Johannesburg and Durban.

Bones (9pm, Fox) - Human remains found in mail at a dead-letter office are linked to a local retail center, where a group of employees are recent lottery winners. Also, Booth gets surprising news from his grandfather (Ralph Waite).

Whitney (9:30pm, NBC) - Lily prepares for her wedding and enlists maid-of-honor Whitney to plan an engagement bash. But all the party-planning stress causes sleepless nights for a frazzled Whitney, so she visits a therapist (Chelsea Handler) for advice.

Prime Suspect (10pm, NBC) - Duffy attempts to give a hit-and-run case to Jane when he thinks it can't be solved, and the clues in a murder case lead Jane and Evrard to a porn king.

Local fans of the Fox drama "Bones" may have noticed last week that the show's new squintern was sporting a Carolina Mudcats baseball cap throughout the show.

Luke Kleintank plays Finn Abernathy, the newest addition to the Jeffersonian team. Finn is from North Carolina and is a scientific genius (a scientific genius who speaks in an annoyingly exaggerated Southern dialect and says things like "Well, hack my legs off and call me Shorty!").

But he wore a Mudcats hat in the first episode, so we'll give him a pass (and say a prayer he dials the "Goober" act back just a tad in future episodes).

"Bones" airs tonight on Fox at 9 p.m. but we can't be sure the Mudcats hat will be in future episodes.

Regis Philbin: The Morning Maestro (8pm, ABC) - In a special edition of "20/20," Katie Couric profiles Regis Philbin, who retires tomorrow as cohost of "Live with Regis and Kelly" after 28 years on the show. Things to look forward to: Regis takes Katie to the Bronx neighborhood where he grew up, including a special ceremony at Cardinal Hayes Memorial High School, and the two have snacks at Conti's Bakery with Regis' childhood pal, Freakin' Finelli. No more Regis in the morning? Oh, the pain!!

Community (8pm, NBC) - Dean Pelton directs a commercial starring the study group and a collection of the school's most colorful characters. Even better, Abed shoots a behind-the-scenes documentary of the entire affair.

Private Practice (9pm, ABC) - In a special 2-hour chunk of "Private Practice," Amelia's colleagues stage an intervention when she returns home from a drug binge, and Pete and Violet's marriage reaches a tipping point.

Bones (9pm, Fox) - A toy company CEO (Morgan Fairchild) grants Booth and Sweets access to its top-secret lab after the remains of a female executive are discovered in a shrink-wrapped doll.

Whitney (9:30pm, NBC) - Whitney and Alex attempt to adopt a dog, but have problems with the dog shelter owner, who is played by comedian Lisa Lampanelli.  

Prime Suspect (10pm, NBC) - Jane and Reg investigate the murders of a young girl's parents, whose bodies were found in a hotel room.
