Scotty McCreery's fans already know about the Garner singer's love of Bojangles' food. He's been giving free national exposure to the company since his time on last year's "American Idol" series.

Well, the fried chicken fast food chain finally made an honest man out of Scotty, hiring him as a paid spokesman. Here's the full story by Thad Ogburn.

Though he's living the glamorous life in Los Angeles while performing on "American Idol," Scotty McCreery is certainly missing some things from home. His family and friends. His Garner High School Trojans baseball team. And one of his favorite places to eat, Bojangles'.

Unfortunately, "Bo Time" doesn't extend all the way to the West Coast. But after we reported a few weeks ago that Scotty had tweeted about missing Bojangles', we heard from the chicken and biscuit restaurant. Officials wanted to put together a little care package for the country crooner.
