Another NC queen makes it on "RuPaul's Drag Race"

Grab your wigs, up your attitude and prepare to tuck: Season Three of "RuPaul's Drag Race" begins tonight (Logo, 9 p.m) and just to make things even more yummy, one of the 12 queens competing is a Tar Heel.

Her name is Stacy Layne Matthews from the gloriously named Back Swamp. Seriously. It's a township near Lumberton.

Stacy says she watched the first two seasons of the show and knew she had to be on. Unlike Raleigh's plus-size diva Victoria 'Porkchop' Parker who appeared on the first season of "Drag Race," Stacy is one of three full-figured queens.

Stacy wants you to know that being bigger doesn't put her at a disadvantage. "People underestimate me, but I'm just as fierce and can do anything they can do and as well.

"A lot of people expect plus-size girls to just walk around. I can dance, I can do splits, if I want to."
