Constitution USA with Peter Sagal (9pm, UNC-TV) - NPR's Peter Sagal ("Wait Wait Don't Tell Me") undertakes a cross-country motorcycle trip to explore the relevance of the Constitution in modern America, starting with federal power vs. states' rights. Among the issues explored: medical marijuana, gun control and health care.

New Girl (9pm, Fox) - Jess' father (Rob Reiner) visits at an inopportune time, forcing Nick to spend some alone time with him.

The Mindy Project (9:30pm, Fox) - I'm so glad this show has gotten better and better all season. Tonight, Mindy is upset by Casey's decision to spend a year in Haiti, so she tags along with a premed student she's mentoring to a frat party, where she runs into her ex-boyfriend Tom. Also -- and more importantly -- Danny and Jeremy try to steal Morgan back from the midwives.

Chopped (10pm, Food) - Four mothers who are not professional chefs compete. For appetizers, they must break down an uncommon protein and incorporate coffee into their dishes.

Body of Proof (10pm, ABC) - A plane crashes in Philadelphia after a passenger opens fire, and the entire team pitch in to work the disaster. With the city's main power grid affected by the crash, Megan must conduct autopsies in between blackouts, and during one of them, a body goes missing.

What to Watch on Thursday: 'Parks & Rec' returns along with final season of 'The Office'

The Office (9pm, NBC) - In the ninth and final season opener, two young employees arrive at the office and staffers immediately label them the new versions of Jim and Dwight. Also, Oscar mulls adopting Angela's cat and Kevin saves a turtle. As bad as this show had gotten over the past season or two, I still think this final run will be worth watching.

Project Runway (9pm, Lifetime) - The designers visit Radio City Music Hall and create  costumes for the legendary Rockettes. Debra Messing is the guest judge.

Parks and Recreation (9:30pm, NBC) - Leslie and Andy visit Ben and April in Washington, D.C., in tonight's Season 5 opener. Sens. John McCain, Barbara Boxer and Olympia Stowe have cameos (McCain's appearance is especially funny). Back in Pawnee, Ron hosts a barbecue for the P&R staff. I won't win any popularity contests for saying this, but Ron's "meat lover" shtick is starting to feel old to me. Ditto for whatever it is that Rob Lowe is doing. Still love the show, though!

Don't Divorce Me! Kids' Rules for Parents on Divorce (9:30pm, HBO) - Children talk about divorce and offer advice for parents to make sure kids are not manipulated, forgotten or mistreated when the time for permanent separation comes.

Wilfred (10pm, FX) - In the second season finale, existential questions are posed to Wilfred and Ryan.

Suits (10pm, USA) - Last week's "Donna" episode was kind of a shocker. Tonight, Jessica encounters a problem while defending the firm, and Harvey and Mike take an unorthodox case in light of Harvey's history with a client.

3 (10pm, CBS) - Exactly what the world needs: another dating show (and NBC has one coming in the fall!). On this one, three women move into a Chicago home and cameras follow them as they search for a romantic partner. In other "dating show" news, "Take Me Out" on Fox has its Season 1 finale at 8.

What to Watch on Thursday: Louis CK shares the night with Charlie Sheen, Russell Brand

Wipeout (9pm, ABC) - The fifth summer season premieres with a hottie vs. nerds battle of the sexes thing (and I thought I couldn't be more unappealing to me).

Anger Management (9pm, FX) - It's the new Charlie Sheen sitcom, and it debuts tonight with two back-to-back episodes. Sheen plays a therapist who specializes in anger management issues. It's a little better than "Two and a Half Men," but that's not saying much (it's still not very nice to women). And it's not in the same universe as FX's other sitcoms (like "Louie," pictured here, or "Wilfred" or "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia"), but everybody's got bills to pay, I guess. Here's my full "Anger Management" review.

Rookie Blue (10pm, ABC) - During her first day as a detective, Traci makes an amateur mistake that puts a homicide investigation in jeopardy.

Wilfred (10pm, FX) - Wilfred, who has bonded with Jenna's meathead boyfriend Drew, accuses Ryan of being selfish and refuses to help him with his problems.

Louie (10:30pm, FX) - Louie (Louis C.K., pictured here) goes through a really tough day in tonight's Season 3 premiere. I've already seen the first five episodes of the season and it's really incredible. As always.

Awkward (10:30pm, MTV) - Tonight marks the start of the second season of this really excellent teen comedy following the adventures of awkward-but-lovable high schooler Jenna Hamilton. A marathon of the first season airs on MTV starting at 3:30. Your DVR wants it.

Brand X (11pm, FX) - A new half-hour series in which British actor and comedian Russell Brand dissects current events and ponders the great questions of mankind while awkwardly interacting with a live audience. Writer Matt Stoller appears as a political, economic and historical consultant. Here's my take on "Brand X."

What to Watch on Monday: Two great marathons and Rudolph saves the New Year

Independence Bowl: UNC vs. Missouri (5pm, ESPN2) - Tar Heel post-season football live from Shreveport. It'll be coach Everett Withers' last hoorah in Carolina blue. Tune in!

Being Human (Noon, Syfy) - A marathon of the first season of Syfy's series about a vampire and a werewolf who try to live like humans, and move into a townhouse haunted by the ghost of the landlord's dead fiance. Highly recommended.

Awkward. (5pm, MTV) - A marathon of MTV's excellent sitcom about an ordinary teenager (Ashley Rickards) who is thrust into the spotlight at school after a simple accident leads everyone to believe she attempted suicide. The season follows her through battling with her subsequent "weird girl" image and the ups and downs of high school friendships and romance. It's very well done.

Rudolph's Shiny New Year (8pm, ABC) - Red Skelton narrates this tale about the shiny-nosed reindeer on a special mission for Santa. Frank Gorshin and Morey Amsterdam lend their voices.

The Closer (9pm, TNT) - The federal lawsuit against Brenda heats up in the wake of a murder. As Brenda's lawyer (Mark Pellegrino) goes to court for her, she turns to a businessman (Jason George) for help with the murder case.

Rizzoli & Isles (10pm, TNT) - In the Season 2 finale, Jane and Maura investigate a warehouse fire that took the life of a firefighter. A hit-and-run incident soon complicates the case. Billy Burke and Jacqueline Bissett guest star.
