What to Watch on Tuesday: The 2011 Kennedy Center Honors

Texas Multi Mamas (8pm, We) - A new reality show that follows a group of Texas mothers of multiple babies (like twins, triplets, etc). I can't think of anything I'd personally rather watch less, but it's a slow TV night, so there you are...

Belk Bowl: NC State vs. Louisville (8pm, ESPN) - The Wolfpack takes on Louisville in Charlotte. Go Pack!

Kennedy Center Honors (9pm, CBS) - Maybe my single favorite TV show of the year. This year, Meryl Streep, Neil Diamond, Yo-Yo Ma, Sonny Rollins and Barbara Cook are saluted. Performers and presenters include James Taylor, Bill Cosby, Robert DeNiro, Herbie Hancock, Anne Hathaway, Mike Nichols, Lionel Richie, and Smokey Robinson.

A Cook's Tour (9:30pm, Cooking) - Anthony Bourdain hits Singapore.

Bomb Patrol: Afghanistan (10pm, G4) - In the season finale, Brad, Ricky and Chase must reach soldiers who are trapped in a damaged vehicle amid a firefight with the Taliban.

Anthony Bourdain picks N.C. BBQ over Kansas City BBQ

This is going to upset some Midwestern barbecue enthusiasts and cheer some Eastern North Carolina barbecue fans. Go HERE.

Anthony Bourdain (pictured above) also picks his favorites in other food fights: hot dogs, pizza, burgers and tacos.

'Top Chef' returns with delectable all-star edition

After assaulting us with that crazy train disaster known as "Top Chef: Just Desserts," Bravo owes us big time.

And it looks like they know it, because tonight's debut of Season 8 of "Top Chef" is an All-Star edition that has the potential to be the show's best season ever.

Seriously, how great does this sound: The producers have brought back 18 of the best non-champion egos -- I mean, contestants -- from the past 7 seasons to compete once more for the top prize. Plus, über-grump Anthony Bourdain joins the judge's table alongside Tom Colicchio, Gail Simmons, and host Padma Laskshmi.

Tickets still available to see Anthony Bourdain

Tickets are still available for the Saturday, Nov. 13 performance by Anthony Bourdain at Raleigh’s Memorial Auditorium.

Bourdain is a former journeyman cook whose book, “Kitchen Confidential,” allowed him to ditch his chef’s whites to travel the world for the Travel Channel. He is now filming his seventh season of “No Reservations. He has a new book, "Medium Raw: A Bloody Valentine to the World of Food and the People Who Cook,” which explains the book tour for auditorium-sized audiences. Tickets cost $44. The show starts at 8 p.m.

For tickets, go to www.progressenergycenter.com or call 831-6060.

What to Watch on Monday: Bristol Palin makes acting debut

The Bachelorette (8pm, ABC) - Ali falls hard for Frank, but it looks like he breaks her heart. Four guys win roses for hometown dates. At the end of this episode, last year's bachelor Jake Pavelka and his ex-fiance Vienna sit down with Chris Harrison to discuss their breakup.

Mad Men (8pm, AMC) - A mini-marathon of the most popular episodes from Season 1.

The Secret Life of the American Teenager (8pm, ABC Family) - Amy runs into Bristol Palin in her dorm room (hey, who hasn't?) and realizes the music program is for teen moms. Palin told E! online that she felt obligated to take this role: "I feel obligated [to speak out] because I've lived through this experience ... the more I talk about it and the more I can be hands on about it, the better I feel about myself." Here's a sneak peek of her skills. Meanwhile, Ruben is not happy about Adrian's choice regarding her pregnancy.

Huge (9pm, ABC Family) - Will struggles to compose a letter to her family and develops a crush on a fellow camper.

Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations (10pm, Travel) - In the seventh season premiere, Bourdain visits the Grenadine Islands where he fishes, dives, and tries to hunt a local delicacy.
