Submitted by amweigl on 04/17/2012 - 13:07On Monday, the lastest location of the Another Broken Egg Cafe restaurant chain will open in Durham at 2608 Erwin Road in Pavilion East.
The restaurant serves an upscale breakfast, brunch and lunch menu. It started in 1994 when founder Ron Green opened the Broken Egg Cafe in Lake Pontchartrain, La. A year later, a customer suggested Green open “another Broken Egg Cafe,” and so he did. Now there are 21 locations, predominantly in the Southeast. The restaurant will be open 7 a.m.-2 p.m. daily.
A second North Carolina location will open later this summer in Morrisville.
