What to Watch on Friday: Elf on Shelf shares his story

Hoops & Yoyo Ruin Christmas (8pm, CBS) - I don't know who these people are, but CBS writes about them as if I should. So. Hoops and Yoyo accidentally become stowaways on Santa's sleigh and slip through a wormhole that transports them back in time with a young Kris Kringle, and their journey threatens to disrupt Kris' destiny to become Santa Claus.

The Elf on the Shelf: An Elf's Story (8:30pm, CBS) - This fellow I've heard of. A scout elf (left) who helps Santa determine who is naughty or nice is assigned to help a boy who's struggling to believe in the magic of Christmas.

All on the Line (9:30pm, Sundance) - In the second season premiere, designer Angelo Lambrou, known for his wedding and couture work, gets help with his ready-to-wear line.

Flying Wild Alaska (10pm, Discovery) - The Iditarod dog sled race benefits Era Alaska, and Ayla, Ariel, and Ferno run with reindeer in Anchorage.

Sanctuary (10pm, Syfy) - An Abnormal's attack on Abby leaves her requiring treatment at the Sanctuary while Henry and her FBI partner Gavin retrace her steps to determine what happened.
