A Washington-based senior housing company has bought the Alta Oakridge apartments in Raleigh for $24.25 million, according to property records.
Capitol Seniors Housing bought the property from Wood Partners of Charlotte. The apartments are in North Raleigh at the intersection of Falls of Neuse and Durant roads.
Alta Oakridge is for residents 55 and older.
The Triangle has become a very attractive market for real estate firms that specialize in senior housing.
Health Care REIT, an Ohio real estate investment trust, earlier this year bought both the Magnolia Glen retirement community and the Abbotswood at Stonehenge senior living communities in Raleigh for nearly $80 million.
