two-way deals

I'm not putting the two-way deals on here because there are dozens of them. The only exception is Sutter, who the Canes have made pretty clear is going to be in the NHL this fall unless he's clearly not ready in training camp. They haven't made the same pronouncements about, for example, Borer.

lines

so what would the lines be?
here's my guess:

Forwards
1. Staal-Ruutu-Samsonov
2. Brind'Amour-Williams-Whitney
3. Cullen-Walker-Eaves
4. Sutter-Brookbank-Bayda

Defense
1. Corvo-Gleason
2. Pitkanen-Seidenberg*?, or the guy we're supposedly bringing in?
3. babchuk-Wallin

scratched- kaberle

this can and will change

this can and will change between today-training camp- opening night, but here is how they should be looking...

Forwards
1. Whitney-Staal-Ruutu (rutherford expects Rutuu to take coles place)
2. Samsonov-Brind'Amour-Williams

3. Eaves-Cullen-Walker

4. Brookbank-Sutter-Bayda

of course LaRose signing and the 4th line will flip flop often.

Defense
1. Pitkanen-Gleason (Rutherford expects a Pit-Gleason pairing)
2. Kaberle-Babchuk

3. Wallin-Seidenberg

I wouldn't put seidenberg too high up the chart yet.

Rutherford also said if we land thisa d-man he expects to sign, we may move one of our lower d-men.

we shall se...

LaRose ??? - To Johnny G

yep i agree with your line set ups and reasonings...but as you said LaRose ...on 4th...if he signs...He's silly if he don't...but as hard as he has played hurt and well you'd think Rutherford would try to find afew extra dollars for the guy...not that 500,000.00 is garbage...but still...it would be nice if the front office were to do the right thing...but hell I'm just a poor broke fan who can't afford to drive anymore to RBC...to it will be Verses this year for me...later !

You forgot

You have a glaring omission on defence - Corvo.

It wouldn't break my heart to see Kaberle moved - call it addition by subtraction.

He's not putting the 2-way

He's not putting the 2-way deals on the list since it is assumed they will start the year w/ Albany if everyone is healthy.

Borer

How come borer is not on the list? he is signed to a two-way...

Borer

Borer should be on defense list at $510k... I believe he signed for $515 last year, and 510 this season..

What about Conboy?
