Go Canes !!

Oh, and...

Don't forget you're also avoiding the whopping ticket prices. I was thinking of going but can't imagine paying that much. Fulfilling a boyhood dream, I went to every single home game during the 2006 run, and was there when they hoisted the cup. I didn't pay NEARLY as much then as I'd be paying now if I tried the same thing. I do hope others enjoy it. And I bet it will still sell out. It'll be awesome.

Prices - to Whirligig

Yes they are expensive, and not that i don't have the funds per say...but and as much as I love Hockey and to go see a game @ the RBCC...even in the nose bleed sections...i have 2 older grand daughters who are in college and that is and does come first. My 2nd eldest daughter and her family inherited my season tickets for the WHL Spokane Chiefs but they are only 1000.00 for season for the year ( 4 seats) and are close to the ice...but not behind the glass..so while i can claim to be a STH...it's just not here or in Albany..hehehe..so like others I'll stay glued to the tube...and hope that John Forslund might get to do a play by play on verses this round a time or 2...but if not...oh well !!!

Go Canes !!

Right Priorities

Hey Esteban,  money is only a medium of exchange, and while many are obviously living  beyond their medium of exchange today, your dues are paid, my man. You really should be there Friday the 23rd.  You've obviously stayed at the wheel and taken care of your family and as Guy Lombardo once recorded, "It's later than you (we) think." But grandchildren do top ice hockey. Never saw a puck I loved as much as I care fior my Grands!! We were the happy beneficiaries of a phone call from No. l son who informed us he braved the lines Friday and is surprising ( and blessing) us with a pair for the home opener against the Penguins.  And the wife, in a charitable mood no doubt,  says the chain can come from around my neck and I have permission to yell as loud as I please...as long as I'm inside the arena. So maybe no more Dawg house for either of us. Honestly, I have no idea of what the ticket prices are, but hope you  and Whirligig enjoy the game it via TV. Forslund is simply great, right up there with Doc Emrick. We're already lamenting the end of hockey season. What on earth will we all do then?

Hey Skyliner

The seats i was looking at were 300.00 each. But never the less I learned from my grandmother who came over on the boat and lived through the depression of the 30's that there are some things that are and do take priority. even if i was a multi millionaire with cash to burn, i still would weigh the facts. Not cheap or being a mizer mind you, but again just keeping my Priorities straight. As the youngest granddaughter still has 3 more years to and the elder one is a 5th year senior...but working on her masters for that 5th year...so i really can't complain. And speaking of being in the dawg house...to make sure you are out 7 will stay out...until tuesday morning, you need to go and get her something special...nothing fancy...just something...why ? Because...Have a reat time at the game my friend...and give a yell of us over here in Winston-Salem...

Go Canes...Beat The birds !!

PS and Guy was my granma's favorite orchestra...she even threatened to move us all to canada, after she got to see him and the band live in Chicago once..

gee i wonder

how much for this go round ?? anybody got a clue ??
