The ninth Caniac Carnival, the Canes' annual season kickoff event, will be held Sunday, Sept. 21, from 10 a.m. until 2:30 p.m., at the RBC Center.

Parking and admission to the event are free and the Carnival will feature rides, interactive games, a designated sports zone, a TNT Freestyle Motocross show, live music, and an autograph session with select Hurricanes players.

Beginning at 10 a.m. and while supplies last, fans can receive complimentary tickets to the Hurricanes’ Red-White intra-squad scrimmage that follows the Carnival at 3 p.m. In addition, 1,500 wristbands will be distributed for the autograph session, set from 12:15 p.m. until 1:30 p.m.

Fans may arrive as early as 8 a.m. to line up on the East and West sides of the RBC Center for tickets and autograph wristbands. Doors will open for the game at 2 p.m. for season-ticket holders with general admission tickets, and at 2:30 p.m. for non-season-ticket holders with general admission tickets.

Fans will have their first opportunity to purchase individual game tickets for home games in October and November beginning at 10 a.m. at the arena box office. The Caniac Carnival will also mark fans’ first opportunity to buy the Hurricanes' new alternate jersey from the official team store, The Eye.
