The Canes have reassigned defenseman Bobby Sanguinetti to the Charlotte Checkers (AHL).
This completes the second NHL recall of the season for Sanguinetti, 24, who played in the Hurricanes’ 4-3 win at Winnipeg on Sunday. He has skated in three games for Carolina this season.
