The Hurricanes have reassigned goaltender Justin Peters to the Albany River Rats (AHL).
Peters was called up Nov. 17 from the Rats, a day after goalie Michael Leighton suffered a groin injury at Montreal. He served as backup to Manny Legace for four games.

Fri, 11/27/2009 - 23:07 — esteban1949should have sent manny to Albany & kept peters i hate to see what's going to happen to the Canes until Cam Ward comes back...but even if he does...with out a complete 60 minute effort...no goalie can carry a who team all the time...and if you don't believe me...go ask some other super star goalies...
